So, with two weeks left in the regular season, what have we learned??

- Beck was outstanding last night. Throwing darts and throwing them to his own team. That was an electric atmosphere in Athens, wow.
- I can't wait for Manning at QB next season. Ewers continues to underwhelm with terrible pocket presence, lack of mobility and inability to throw a deep ball.
- Easy to see why Bill O'Brien moved off of Castellanos. Grayson James is going to be a player, already is.
- The best team in Louisiana isn't LSU. Tulane held Navy to 113 total yards for the game while thoroughly dominating in Annapolis.
- It's never a bad day when both Drinkwitz and Kelly lose. The latter's anger management courses have paid no dividends. And at least Missouri played hard and none of Eli's players yelled at him.
- Travis Hunter is amazing. Played every snap yesterday, 130 or so I believe.
- I need to get to Folsom Field. Something really cool about that place, even on television. Guess it's just the small stadium framed by the backdrop / mountains.
- LaNorris Sellers has as much upside as any player in the country. He's a beast, yet still a freshman. Mobility, arm strength, sees the field well and throws a very good ball. Has a really bright future.
Random fun TD of the weekend:

Also props to Tulane. Senior Day at Navy and what an absolute demolition. Too bad they probably end up short of reaching the playoff.

That was my one game of the season we booked back in July. Was on the 35 yard line home side about 40 rows up. My heart was about to pound out of my chest in the last few minutes. Willy B does not disappoint for atmosphere.

Addition by subtraction is still a force. Many thanks to Willie Fritz for a boost Uptown but getting Sumrall after Houston flexed a wallet was something to behold. Many Wave faithful felt the same.

I am continuing to learn that way too many people continue to perpetuate the dumbest argument in sports: that so and so is just two plays away from being undefeated. No, they're not. You cannot assume changes in one or two games and also assume that the rest of the season has or will play out the same. Maybe you win that one game on that one play and you approach and / or play differently in the game the following week. Who the hell knows? You don't, so don't assume it will or would happen.

I've never been less interested for bowl season
This whole playoff thing has made the next two weeks meaningless. I don't even know who's #1 at this point because I haven't cared to look. If Oregon and Ohio play again it's not interesting. If they somehow play a third time it hits the gag reflex.

Learned that strength of schedule does not matter. Who has Indiana beaten? Who has Miami or Texas beaten?
Would be curious what Notre Dame's record would be if they played Clemson (neutral), Tennessee, At Bama, At Ole Miss, At Texas.
When UGA plays like they did the last 3 quarters vs. Tennessee, they are still the best team in the country. Unfortunately, they have lacked consistency all year. Part of that is injuries. Part is playing on the road at night.

I'll take it a step further. I have put almost no thought into any team winning it this season. Maybe Army but somehow they won't even be involved. s__k figured it out, there's actually good football at that level.

Seriously it's not interesting for me. I don't even know what sport I care about at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I wan ISU in a big bowl playing some team that's relevant but that's 6 weeks away. Naturally I'm pumped about the Maui field but November hoops aren't anything of note. Guess it would be fun to run train but it's really not that important.
Thankfully the Cards are competing, I guess NFL is my allegiance at this point but not like we're championship material. It's way too early to give a fuck about the Suns. Pretty much a sporting lull. As big a fan of City as I am, even that's full of injuries lol
I bet on ping pong a couple nights ago because it was the first thing that interested me lol. Prolly need to invest in ATP world finals but there is zero buzz about it.

I didn't want a 12 team playoff. Most years 4 is plenty. This is clearly not one of them.
I was gonna give it a year before I reacted either way. But having SEC coaches coming out and saying they are better off not playing in the conference championship game, is kind of telling.
