Playin 2 overs with strong winds blowing out in Cincy and Arlington. Can see Johan giving up one or two homers today and neither starter going more than 6.
Unfortunatey missed 7 but still like 7.5

Same in Texas as both Millwood and especially Lee had unspectacular springs. Rangers have hit Lee well in past so that and 20+ MPH winds to right center. I can easily see an 8-6 game here.

Also on Rangers for the game. A solid spring and healthy rotation should produce 85 plus wins this year.

On a side note, I use 2 locals. One has better juice than the other, but they release lines very late. I will have some plays with not the best numbers, so no need to tell me the number is better elsewhere :-)

Also, I will post amount played and not use a unit system. The situations will determine my risk and you'll see I play my fair share bets between $10 and $30. My season goal is about $1k. I'm a relative newb with baseball but did quite well last season up around $700.

Adding parlay:

Zona / STL with action on Webb and Wainwright. +150
20/30

Primarily an April fade of Maholm and Cooke. Both typically start slow in April and both Pitt and Colorado had mediocre springs.

Last for today:

Cubs Team Total o 3.5 -120 24/20

Roy was sub-par this spring and during WBC. Cubs can cover this before the pen comes into play.

4/7

Well, Jason Motte painfully reminded me of the Cards inability to close a game. Sister kisser on Monday with a $2 profit.

Early leans for Tuesday are (gulp) St. Louis, San Diego, and Minny. Be back tomorrow with plays.

Locked in Philly -120, Minny -120, and San Diego -130. Still looking at totals and a few others as time permits. Might RL the Yanks or parlay with the Cards.

Rolling with Zona and Davis this afternoon and lookin for Wang to get off to another good start. Unsure of what the Japanese import can do so only a $10 bet on the Yanks to get win #1.

Lean Milky tonite and will wait on that one for now. Lean the Tribe as well but will watch numbers to see if I can get + money.

Like the undy with CWS and KC with both pitchers and an under ump. Waiting for 1st 5 lines now as I am liking a possible 4.5.

I'm ok risking $18 on NY. It won't break the bank at this stage, lol. I know -150 plus plays are risky, but it worked well last season in situational spots, so I'll try again this year.

After looking the Strangers & Tribe, I have flipped and favor Texas IF Padilla is ultimately catching + money. Last year Texas was 14-3 SU with Vicente as a dog. I really like this team to start strong and all I hear are positives. I live in D/FW and conditioning was a focus this year. Everyone came into Spring in shape. Truly think they have 85+ wins in them.

Good luck.

Brilliant start today, lol. Final plays are the Reds and Strangers. Good luck rest of day to everyone.

Busy day today so no write ups, but back to the well with the Yanks RL and plays on teams off a loss with Cincy, Toronto, Cleveland, and the Angels.

Possibly will add a Parlay with St. Louis and Boston. Good luck today!

Since a sure winner in Anehiem was post poned, may as well take some other action.

Brewers team over 3.5 -125 25/20

I know it may be insane to think over with E involved, but I like Milky to win and at least 4 runs will be necessary. If rain is a factor, pens may come into play sooner. If not, I think Cain gives up all 4. His spring was so so and is giving more than a hit per inning and Milky blasted him twice last year. I'll tak my chances on a line inflated by E.

Otherwise nice days rebound from yesterday. Only loss on Rangers but I should know better. It's early but they are for real.

adding ML's on PIT, BALT, and LAA. Short on time. Amounts played in post 1.

Good Luck!

Even Steven again yesterday and sitting even on the season. Would like to sweep today...

Marlins +125
Reds RL +120 (really like this one)
Strangers EV - like Texas to avoid the sweep and see the bats wake up.

Week 1 done and plus small money. Still feeling out teams and will keep small plays a bit longer.

Today I love the Sox with Floyd to spoil Detroits run. Also going small on Nats to get on win column in home opener. Also on Colorado with Jimenez (gonna be a stud) and the Mets RL.

Good luck!

Added 2 plays:

Giants (action) +160 - quasi system play with some value. We'll get a good idea if RJ has much left.

Yanks (Wang) +140 - can't pass on the value here. Yanks set up well against lefties and Wang getting +140 when he is 6-2 lifetime against Rays. Value bet, pure and simple.

adding:

O's +105 and team total over 4.5.

I like Texas as a team but don't like Vicente as a fav. Can see Balty tag him as they historically hit him well.

Last play today as I broke every rule I have on number of plays on a given day, lol.

3-5 yesterday but managed to win a $12, woohooo!

May have 3 plays today but have 2 locked in:

Detroit +110 - system play and one that I don't love. Tigers bats have been pretty solid at home, but Danks will be tough. Holding little hope on this one, but I woulda figured the price on Danks higher so we'll see.

Yanks +110 - value again with Burnett. If he pitches like his last start Yanks will win. This for an early season game is very important to NY's psyche. Almost a must win, especially where the Steinbrenners demand road wins.

Looking hard at Milky as well, but want a lower price. Couple others still need to cap.

Good luck

adding Texas team total over 5.5 -125

I like teams that rally late and fall short to score quick and often the next day. Wind in slightly from center but it's really calm for Dallas standards. Rangers feast on guys like Simon. He throws a lot of fastballs with little action. Texas need a win BAD and offense will be key as no lead is safe with the pen's early stats.

Good luck.

Tough loss on Rangers team total. Simon was as predicted, sadly was yanked in the second inning :-(

6 plays today and posted in top post.

Good luck today!

Pending the Angels, should be a good Wednesday. Gotta wait for lines in the morning so Leans for Thursday are:

Cleveland +? Lee should get on track and NY had issues with another leftyKazmir. Pressure of home opener for CC and Yanks make CY Young an attractive +150'ish dog

Minny +? System play and + money with Liarano make it worthwhile.

Hotlanta -?

Cubbies -?

Thursday:

Braves -140
Tribe +170
Cubs -115
Twins +115

Pretty solid day yesterday. Still deciding if I go back to the well with the Angels. Saunders is Mr. April type pitcher so it sets up well for the Halos to get a win after gettin spanked last nite. Waiting for my book to release line for this game. I will prolly play il up to -140ish.

Good luck
