Fly, Eagles, Fly!
6-4 in the playoffs
77-52 on the year overall. All documented.


I know I’m one of the few, but I will be on the Eagles in this Superbowl for a number of reasons.

These teams played in this game a couple years ago. KC with a better roster back then compared to this year, and only best an Eagles team with a worse roster than this year’s team by 3. This year’s team has a FAR better overall defense and vastly improved secondary. The offense is also better with the best RB in the game.
Philly is better in the trenches on both sides of the ball and that is huge. Jalen Hurts has been taking care of the ball much better lately, and will have 2 weeks to get healthy. Philly is also really out for revenge after some questionable calls contributed to the loss last time out. Philly now knows what to expect in this game and against this team that they know they can beat. Almost everyone is going to expect KC to get their 3 peat. The story is going to be pounded into their heads, especially after KC disposed of Buffalo. Don’t underestimate how much this will energize the Eagles. KC still has issues on the O line that the Eagles can exploit in a way the Bills couldn’t.


The only things giving me pause are 1. The coaching mismatch. As I’ve stated before, Sirianni is a fucking idiot. The team is winning DESPITE him, not because of him. However, we now have coordinators who can make up for some of his idiocy.
2. The Eagles injuries at Center are concerning with both our starting center and backup both with injuries. Hopefully the 2 week layoff can help them heal up.
3. The continued shady ass referees. With game so visible, hopefully they won’t be a major factor, but you never know.


At the end of the day, I’ll be on the Eagles. Not just because I’m a fan, but because I believe they are the better team. But I am going to wait until closer to game time to try and get a better line.
Score prediction? Let’s go with 26-22 Eagles.
 
you not in a hige minority i think this game money wise at very least ends up pretty evenly split. I already responded to your take in the other thread so won’t do it again here but look forward to your response.

I def need to hear his take before I start looking at props, I find the guys who fair bout their squads often lead me to few good prop plays!

Hey fellas. Thanks a lot.

I am not done yet, but I have at least a few comments thus far.

- Right now, other than TDs I don't know where you take Barkley prop wise. The numbers are just too inflated. I think the Chiefs tackle so well that Barkley will be UNDER his prop totals. The prevailing thought going into last year's SB, was how in the world would McCaffrey be stopped. He averaged 3.6 yards a carry and really wasn't a factor.

- I think Hurts, Goedert and whoever Trent McDuffie is not covering (Brown vs. Smith) are worth over looks

- There's always some weird shit that happens. I have had Jahan Dotson over 0.5 receptions for the last two weeks. He got zero targets both games. He has consistently played at or over 50% of the snaps and still has seen no love. I think if you're looking for an Eagles longshot, he's a guy.

- Chiefs? I still think Pacheco cannot be played. Philly has been great on D all year, but obviously this is a different animal at this moment. I think they will use Mahomes' legs again. I think Hunt will score a TD. I have to imagine Kelce has one more game left in him before he has to make some decisions. My favorite is prob Worthy. Receiving, Rushing + Receiving. I like it. Dark horse has to be Hopkins

i always look to play mahomes rushing in big games, last week the 24.5 cracked me up.

Realky like kelce also this feel like the time for him to win mvp and ride off into sunset! I’ll be looking at his yards, td, and mvp maybe. Appreciate Your thoughts as always

It was pretty similar to last game I believe. Still kicking myself I chickened out against commanders, of course after 1st run I thought “good thing I didn’t play that, lol”. Last week I had him at 120 which was insanely close, I saw him tick up a little and was really hoping he get the same kinda move as that kid for Boise did, I waited all day on him few times and ended up getting 10 extra yards to under and hit every time I played. Told myself If Barkley just hits 130s I’d be all over under, never got there but cashed anyways as commanders did a fantastic Job after the amazing display of incompetent tackling on 1st run. Dunno prices but hurts and Barkley td props gotta be considered. I think this game flies over the total, I have it somewhere in the mid 50s at the very least. Fangio d don’t worry me in the slightest. I love Jayden but let’s be real im not sure commanders punted?? The offense that fangio had seen 2x prior looked just fine until all the fumbles and ertz went off. I think kelsey been saving everything he got for this one and I don’t think there any way to double him w the speed kc has on the outside. Kc tt over and game over if eagles oline is healthy.
 
I’m all over goedert props also. Bills te’s killed mr but don’t change the fact kc sucks defending them and id assume the corners have hands full w AJ and smith while everyone else be focused on Barkley.

I like Worthy for anytime TD. He's used in the red zone and will get a rush or two.

The Chiefs are the lowest scoring +Plus(4) team favorite in many years. In fact I cant recall anyone worse. I dont see them even winning one quarter.
Your assesment of roster changes depleting are valid. They have no one who can go deep and get past the Philly db's.
Buffalo was poorly coached and never used the best player (Allen) in the 2nd half. They ran too much and got conservative, playing not to lose, ehich is why they lost.
