It was either the Vickerson roughing the passer call that led to an automatic first down and an extra minute and a half of time kill by the Colts late in the game, or right before that the bogus Colts fumble recovery on Hillman's fumble at the 3 yard line where Hillman clearly has the ball under his control at the bottom of the pile and the ball is ripped away by Bethea. Unfortunately the question of recovery is not reviewable by replay.
 
ahh ok. I think it was that Hillman fumble recovery. Thought that was not enough evident enough...but wha the fuk do we know.

don't mean to clog Shark's thread, but the Hillman fumble was clearly a fumble. The roughing call was awful and a good acting job by Luck; but that was the killer.

Yeah it was clearly a fumble, but it looked as if Hillman has possession on the bottom of the pile before it was ripped away again by a Colts player. It's just another example of something that can't be reviewed by a league that says it wants to get the calls right and has a replay system. Same thing with the step out on the punt return...he was probably out of bounds, but how in the hell is that not reviewable? Either we want to get the calls right, or we (the NFL) wants to pick and choose which plays can and cannot be reviewed.
 
I don't think one hand pinning the ball to your leg constitutes possession

Anyway tough to say the refs screwed that game. Colts led from halfway through the first qtr for the rest of the game.
