Well, let me put it this way, he HAS to be better than Weeden. Usually, a QB making his first start with a new team, will try and make his first performance that best that he possibly can. This, along with the fact that Cassel will get his first start of the year against one of the league's worst defenses. New York ranks 28th in the league in total defense, and 31st in the league in pass defense, above only the Oakland Raiders. The Giants let a poor 49ers team score 27 points on them, and allowed 27 against the Eagles in their last outing.
I'll take a shot with him today. :cheers3:
