Cam Newton teased Wednesday some interesting remarks were coming as he wanted to get some things off his chest after being released by the New England Patriots before the start of the regular season.

Right or wrong, nobody wanted him at the start of last season. Which seems sort of nuts given his track record and the fact that he's only 32. Now, there's a lot of wear and tear there, but he's still not old by QB standards. And nobody wanted him but NE on a one year deal.
Now his options are what? Not Washington, Ron could have taken him 'before' he got Covid and refused to get vax'd. Why take him now. Both NO and Denver made their choice. His only real option looks like Houston and they've passed. Either you're a backup or that's a wrap so ...
Although, maybe he's going to kick the Pats on the way out the door, which I'm here for. Won't help him land another gig, but I'm OK with it. Hahaha.
