Absurd. They will all schedule four cupcakes so all they have to do is win two conference games to be bowl eligible.

Every time college football does something strictly for a money grab I lose more interest in it

The support for 9 conference games is there. This is now 100% about squeezing more money out from ABC/ESPN/Disney. The conference will get it eventually and we’ll have the 9 game model though I’m not sure it will come as fast as most of us would like

To the contrary, scheduling was much better 50 years ago when ACC and SEC teams played 6 conference games and five non-conference games against strong competition. Fuck regimentation for dollars.
