Might want to double check the umpire situation in the following games:

Sea/Oak - Tony Randazzo was listed, but Friday night 1B ump is Marty Foster
Bal/Tex - none listed but Friday night 1B ump is Tim Welke and was listed as Saturdays HP ump for Nym/Hou
Nym/Hou - Tim Welke was listed, but Friday night 1B ump is Tony Randazzo

probably misinformation, think the info listed above is correct.

wheres trout when you need him. JO JO REYES?

nothing looking very tempting just at a glance, going to have to do some research in a bit.

not sure why my same post hit three times.. Sorry guys.. Really like Toronto early.. Marcum is very good and is due to get rewarded for his stellar run...:smiley_acbe:

Ump for the Yanks/Angels game is 9-4 to Under for totals 8.0 or more.

The last time these teams met in the Bronx, the first game totaled 16 runs, and the next 2 went under, totaling only 11 runs combined. Lackey's start in that series totaled 7 runs.

The Yanks have only once conceded 6+ run totals over 4 straight games (2 on the road) this season (and that came with 4 straight losses, at the end of a 7 game losing streak). As bad as their pitching has been, even they have their limits, and this spot would seem to be it.

I am going to the Yankee game, maybe small play on Roger so I can cheer harder. Old Timers Day, should be nice and wasted for this one

Aight got an early day tomorrow have to get to work on this tonight.

Just leans and the games I am looking into.

Cubs Over 8.5
Brewers -1
BJays
Royals-1
DBacks-1

I like the -1 play cause it cuts out the juice and beats the shit out of the rl and at the end of the day I am fine with a push rather than a half run loss.

*Yanks for fun

Indians -103 / Jays -107 / Under 9-105:

Carmona has had a rough time lately according to his L3 era but the numbers are a little messed up. I say this because anytime you give up 8er in 1ip than your era is going to go through the roof. His other 2 outtings include 6ip-4h-1er to TB and 6ip-10h-3er to Washington. Still not as bad as his 8.31era in his L3 games. Marcum has been very good . There is something to pay attention to here and that is Carmona = 6-0 w/ 1.58era during the day and OBP of .266. Compare that to his 9-4 overall record w/ 3.78era and .321 OBP. Also want to point out his WHIP is 1.31 overall and 1.05 during the day and batters are hitting .216 off him compared to his .274overall. Marcum sports a 2.86era overall and 1.31 over his L3 games. His WHIP has been consistently 1.00-1.10 which is very good. His OBP is about 50points lower than Carmona's as well. He has not lost in his 10 starts since entering the rotation. Ump is 6-9 O/U this yr with 63.71% called for strikes. Cleveland is 16-6 in the L22 meetings and series this yr is 3-1 Cleveland. Indians just 20-23 on the road while BJays are 25-18 at home. I think picking this game is very tough but I like the Under

Mariners +120:

Alright the way I see this game is that Harden is not throwing more than 60-65 pitches. That could be 4innings of baseball and leaving 5 up to the bullpen where Seattle has a huge advantage. I haven't been impressed with the King since he came back from the DL but he isn't favored here. He is a dog to Harden who has great stuff when he's healthy but I think coming from the bullpen to the rotation, it might still be too early for him. The downside to this is that he is 5-1 w/ 1.28era in 7games vs. Seattle and went 7innings-3h-0er earlier this yr vs them. It is just that he will be on the pitch count and the A's are more concerned that he has a good outting and doesn't get hurt in the limited amount of pitches than they do winning this game. I think if its a 1-2 run game when he leaves, even if its after the 5th, you have to like your chances with the Mariners.

Arizona -1:

Real short here, I am tired. Webb had dominated the Reds and is 4-2 w/ 2.50era in his career. Prior to last start, Webb has 7 straight of 3er or less, it is bounce back time here. Bailey, well he just hasn't been that impressive this yr. He has a 1.97WHIP on the yr and 2.07 over his L3 games. He has walked 19 guys in 23innings. Arizona doesn't have the strongest offense but those numbers will get you into trouble vs almost anyone.

bol tommorow renew, im considering the indians my self but my pride is holding me back(i hate betting against the jays). still doing research on this game but my gut instinct is telling me the tribe will come out on top in this game.

Tampa Bay/Kansas City OVER 10 +102 (Sonnanstine v. Meche)
I do wish the total were a bit lower. Sonnanstine hasn't pitched terribly in his past few games, it just seems that he doesn't settle into the game until after the 1st couple of innings and they're already trailing from there He actually gives the bullpen a shot. Still that bullpen is just a wreck, and Meche doesn't have very good #'s vs the D-Rays. Meche also came back to earth a bit, still pitching very well but no 0 ER games and even though it might be a stretch to get the over I except the bullpens to come into play and help this thing go over. KC's pen has been solid lately. Wind blowing out to Left-Center @ 11 mph. A play on KC may be the better option, just dont want to pay -145 although it seems like a fair price.

Seattle/Oakland OVER 8 -105 (Hernandez v. Harden)
was +101 earlier but listed now @ -105. Anyways I will keep saying this. Felix Hernandez is a name right now. He's pitched well against Pitt and KC and I can see him doing well vs the A's since they are inept at hitting at times but he hasn't showed me that he's himself since his injury and hes gotten so much love, which I do not understand. I dont feel like trying to figure out the stats but the jist of it is he had over a whip of 2.00 and era hovering near 6 prior to last start since his DL trip. Now you have Harden making his 1st start since the DL, spent some time in the bullpen. He's near 100% and is said to be ready to keep a spot in the rotation but I dont know if thatll happen. The M's are still frustrating pitchers, yesterday with Haren, and even though Harden has great success vs the M's I think he will run into some trouble. Then the A's bullpen doesnt help that out either. This is really a gut play, I dont think either guy is completely healthy. Wind blowing out @ 11 mph to LF

Cle/Tor UNDER 9
dont feel like looking into it much but Carmona during the day, Marcum's been pitching well. think Poncino has a sizable strike zone. Wind blowing in slightly from LF @ 12 mph, almost a crosswind

Atl/SD OVER 8.5
this would basically be a fade on jo jo reyes and david wells facing hot bats of the Braves.

a little info on Reyes i found:

The six-foot-two Reyes has a fastball in the 91-94 range, a changeup, curve, and slider

Reyes has emerged as the Braves' top pitching prospect with a solid year split between Mississippi and Richmond. In 13 starts in Double-A, Reyes was 8-1 with a 3.56 ERA, 63 hits allowed in 73.1 innings, 29 earned runs, 35 walks, and 71 strikeouts.

Reyes has pitched four games in Richmond and was 2-0 with a 1.57 ERA. He allowed 21 hits in 23 innings, with 10 walks, and 27 strikeouts.

eh the Padres can hit lefties, they arent great at it but they can do it. Wells has some nice #s vs the Braves but earlier this year he got rocked. Wells might have pitched better the last couple starts but as I said earlier facing hot bats.

just not the best looking card for Saturday... I am not loving this picks much, just some gut feelings and a bit of research.

I am just concerned with Toronto, you never really know what you are going to get out of those bats. I just hate unpredictability. Atleast Carmona's not a lefty. Carmona also a little unpredictable last few games but if that day trend continues then the under looks great.

bol tommorow renew, im considering the indians my self but my pride is holding me back(i hate betting against the jays). still doing research on this game but my gut instinct is telling me the tribe will come out on top in this game.

tough bet vinny, not a fan of this card but that game really seems like a tossup. I guess whoever ends up +money is who I would take if I had to choose

Why wouldnt you take the under with Carmona in a day game and Marcum throwin well? Just because its the Indians offense and bluejays have sporadicly hit well? I'm not buying it. I'm hittin the under 9 hard unless someone can enllighten me.

Anyone got thoughts on the Tigers/ BoSox game? I am thinking -1 play has a lot of value, comes out to -109 on the Tigers.

It was VERY windy blowing out to RF and warm, humidity shouldnt be as much of a factor

all positives for the under I would think.

im trying to see if I can find some stats on totals for the rogers centre roof being closed, not luck so far

Ive jsut now read that the roof will be OPEN, lol. i dont know what to think anymore. its windy today blowing out though so be cautious

I made the U9 a pretty large play, I think Im just going to have to let it ride and hope for both pitchers to come through..

Renew, are those games listed above your plays or just leans? I think I'm gonna ride with you today.

leans, not plays, just made a thread of some plays after doing a bit of research. I like totals a lot more, been focusing on it but today's totals dont seem very easy.

Cool, I trust my asian brethren. What do you think about the totals for the Yanks and Rangers? Clemens never gets run support so 9 seems high. Rangers never fare well against strikeout pitchers so I can easily see Bedard giving up no more than 2 or so today. In addition, McCarthy was rock solid before his injury and I think hes ready for a bounce back game after his shaky 1st start after coming off the DL.

if i had to pick I would go under in the Yanks game. Angels not hitting as well lately and if the Yankees continue to no give Clemens run support that would work out, but Lackey's career #'s vs the Yanks scare me off a bit along with their recent production. I suppose you can say Lackey is still growing as a pitcher so the #'s might be a little irrelevant.

For the Rangers game I would lean under as well, I am just not a fan of betting on a total until I see or know both pitchers are pitching near their best or worst. I.E McCarthy - I was going to start betting on his games until his trip to the DL so as the total does seem high, I'd like to see him pitch a good game before actually betting on a game with him but I do like the under.
