I'm pretty sure I got smoked yesterday. Haven't tally'd up the losses yet, but I know they were significant. Pinnacle is really starting to get to me with these early lines coming out at all hours of the day Saturday and Sunday.

$250 Wisconsin -20 -105
Wisconsin rolled up the yards/points in the first half Saturday on the road at Indiana. This week the Badgers are at home against what I consider an even weaker opponent in Northwestern. Covering 3 td's definately aren't too much to ask for with the Badgers stout defense and maturing offense.

$100 Purdue +11 -105
I still don't have a good feel for Purdue, but I think getting them over 10 points is a good value play. Iowa will be coming off their big emotional game with Ohio State, and I look for them to be sloppy at the start of the game.

$125 Pittsburgh -9 -105
I've had fun taking Syracuse lately, but they've had a fairly weak/fortunate schedule to date. Pittsburgh is definately a step up to what they've been playing lately.

$250 Indiana +7.5 -105
Illinois beating Michigan State definately gave us a nice juicyyyyyy line. Remember Illinois got beat at home by a Syracuse team. Yesterdays game versus Wisky was an emotional game for the Indiana players with their head coach returning from his brain surgeory.

$300 Georgia Tech -14 -108
I might be putting too much emphasis on their win yesterday and will consider buying some of this back after I get Tim's thoughts on this game.

$100 Bowling Green +38
$100 Ohio State/Bowling Green OVER 50 -105
One of those games you just need a TD from the dog to at least split... And there's always a good chance to middle.

$100 Minnesota +4.5
They're a different team at home than on the road. Not the same Penn State team as last year.

How did you fair yesterday?

Well my Pinny account is about half of what it started at last week. Majority (except 1 or 2) of my plays I added yesterday and throughout the week were with my local and I need to tally that up yet. Been more concerned with getting NFL and next weeks CFB plays in than to worry about the damages. I'm actually a bit worried to see how bad of a day it was. When I left at 7pm or so, I was up about $100 on the day, but that didn't include the $500 on Vandy 1H I was moosed on, and large plays on USC and Georgia... Not sure how some of my smaller plays did - heck I don't even know the final scores of the Michigan and Ohio State games right now to see if I covered on those... Boozey Woozey did me in...

Anyways, until some of my NFL plays (1H/Q) hopefully come in, I'm sitting on about $200 in my Pinny account that hasn't been wagered already for next week. So I'm done until later tonight unless something really jumps out at me that I've missed - or my local gets his lines up.

I'm pumped - I thought it was doom and gloom yesterday and I'm pretty sure I only lost $15, was thinking 1k+ need to go over the numbers a bit more in the morning to make sure I didn't make a major error, but I'm happy.

your badgers were pretty damn good bank this weekend, along with Michigan.......Wisky losing to Michigan may prove good for awhile as far as having whisky not laying too many points, for a very good team

glad you pointed out Indiana........like that situation there.....nice dog.....:spank:

SOUTHERN MISS at TULSA -5

Tulsa QB Paul Smith is considered one of the best, if not the best player in Conference USA. Last season against Souther Miss he was 21/35 for 232 yards passing with a TD, while rushing for 44 yards and 3 TD's in their 34-17 victory on the road. His top WR and RB are gone, but their production this season has been adaquately replaced by Tarrion Adams and Idris Moss at WR and Brandon Diles at RB (if he can stay healthy long enough to complete the game). I believe that Tulsa's defensive backs will be able to shut down WR's Shawn Nelson and Damion Carter, forcing QB Jeremy Young to scamper a bit more than he'd like. Damion Fletcher is a promising freshmen RB for Southern Miss and will get his yards, but that won't be enough as their defense won't be able to stop Tulsa from putting points on the board. An interesting number that I came across is Tulsa is 5-32 (since 2001) when they score less than 30 points and 21-7 when they score more than 30.

PREDICTED SCORE:
Tulsa wins 38-16

PLAYS
$200 Tulsa -5
$100 Tulsa 1H -3

ADDING:

$250 Wisconsin 1H -13
Wisconsin should get out to an early early lead, and never look back.

$100 Pittsburgh -7
Tossing a bit more on it now that its down to 7.

$75 North Carolina +18.5
More of a fade of Miami, but UNC normally plays them tough.

$100 Auburn 1H -7 (-120)
Wanted 7 in this game, think Arky gets blown out, but for some reason gut is telling me to stay off the game play.

$100 Kent 1h -14
Just fading Temple 1H all season

$275 SDST +28.5
They lost 14-0 at Wisky, way too many points imo.

$75 Navy +3 (bought .5)
Should be a fg game one way or another

$50 Vandy -1I'll fade Ole' Miss to the end of time

$150 West Virginia -21
Stanton time

I really like Purdue alot. they have a Potent Offnse and did somewhat good against the Domers, there weak link is there secondary, which could get Tate started. Lately Iowa been turning the ball over and i expect the same. Before I read this i thought Purdue ML had a chance.

I got this from ESPN:

No. 19 Iowa 34, Purdue 31: The Boilers' D, the great Anthony Spencer notwithstanding, is horrible against the pass and so I'm expecting a big bounce-back game from Drew Tate. (The Boilers have been starting two true freshmen at DB and a third rookie is the nickel guy.) Purdue's passing game is dangerous too and the Hawkeyes haven't had much luck getting off the field this season (last in the Big Ten in third-down D). Actually, the more I think about this one, the more tempted I am to go against my gut and pick the Boilers to win. But it's late and I'm tired so I'll ignore that. Thing that has me sold: Purdue's freshman-laden secondary.

Goodluck :shake:

Pretty sure SDST in on a THIRD string QB now cause of injuries bro.....that's alot to do w/ the line..

Also, on WVU, Slaton got beat up in the ECU game which has a lot to do w/ the big drop in this line I think...

Fondy - GL today bro. Come on, gotta ride Cuse and that perfect ATS record!
