Who was the jag that lined the Pods to score o/u 4.5 runs? Is that a huge red flag alarm type shit to anyone else? The book must think Lyles is in for some regression. What is the deal.

love to fade guys who have never pitched in Mile High. Think the line is lower because Erlin has pretty good numbers on the year, but those are primarily from Petco, where he's given up 1 ER in L2 starts (13.1 IP). Think the Rocks bats punish him today.

Not sure I get the line - wind blowing slightly out; neither pitcher is lights out and Brian Gorman is fairly neutral ump.

Lyles is smoke and mirrors, cost himself (and me) a win @SD earlier in the year cuz he messed around in the bottom of the 5th to the point where a lopsided game was suddenly 4-3 and Weiss almost yanked him before he could even qualify for the W.

3-1 last night with SD challenging late is a great sign, saw Hawkins and made him throw 20+ after being asleep for 8 innings

I have Lyles 5-0 L5 to the OVER when he pitches on six days of rest, going back to his Astros days (since July 21 of last year). He allowed 27 runs (24 earned) in 26.2 innings pitched in those five games.

Lyles has a 1.25 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in three starts at Coors this season. And the Padres have the worst wOBA (.269) in the MLB. That's why I was like, who is the jag that set this team total at 4.5. They have scored the least amount of runs in the majors. Something doesn't add up.

KC is the opposite park from COL and they had to deal with Shields then Bellino ringing up guys on pitches that nearly bounced (Tulo ejected in the 5th), so I wouldn't sell the farm yet
 
Doing some moderate vomiting as Cosart has walked 4 men. 4 run lead to start may not be nearly enough in first 5
