after looking through some of the boxes, there were boat loads of runners LOB in the games last nite...
 
with the way greinke has been pitching i dont see how you can make him -120 vs anyone , anywhere.... LA probably wins cause that line seems offfffffffffff
 
saunders has pitched well for the halos, why the price on greinke...
You get slightly lower price on the yanks - 0's...
 
Discount on Greinke because he is on the road, but I don't see how you can't take it.
 
Surprised that Lohse is valued over Harang on the road.....I guess at this point Votto and Phillips are lined OUT until otherwise known..

Looks like Phillips is expected to be back in the lineup today. Dusty said he was doing better than Votto and should play Saturday.

Think its Lester as ESPN had Beckett on Sunday Night but did notice that since yesterday Pinny showed Beckett . Think its a simple error . Beckett went on the 5th and Lester on the 4th so clearly Lester's turn and this would put Beckett on short rest...:shake:

wasted time on a huge Pitt writeup- think its either Pitt to over or Mets to UNDER here but since I like the Mets to win the series and they are 0-7 in game 3s but 15-6 in 1st 2 games of series a tad confused . However think the over is solid because humid as fuck here in ny and Maine has been medicore in day games with both middle relief corps struggling and Caps battling a bad elbow as well...good think about sunday is while Livan is BP in day starts Snell and Pitt are very Baltesque on sundays ..like 5-15 L20 away and Snell only 1-8 career on sunday...so with that in mind and the fact the somehow opened this total at 9.5 same as yesterdays SP matchup and has been pounded down ....Pitt and Over ...also tatis and Sheff help vs LHSP and itts 5 away wins all overs , Maholm12-2 ov l14 sat starts

Jays are obvious on the surface...41-20 in day games since 2008 , A's weak offensively in day games and vs LHSP , have a rookie making his 1st away start tmrw vs S who lost 1-0 away vs jays...but hate that I like OAK to win the series

fwiw agree on houston ..oswalt not 100% and at -185 tmrw much worse option with Geer opposing him . Correria is struggling and Moehler seemingly was okay last outing ...2 bottom end guys with the home team guy being slightly better anything less then -140 is cheap imo...:cheers:
 
I guess I should say something about the Oakland Toronto game. It is a pass.
a game you simply do not bet on. Toronto has many advantages in that game. Tallet is pitching so you pass. 15 innings on the road and he has given up 15 runs. The other information generally favors Toronto so you scratch your head and go on to somethingelse. if forced to bet Oakland team total a possibility but generally a bad hitting day team so forget the game.
 
In the Boston game I laid 1.5 and 2.5 for an average bet on Boston. This is up for dispute. Kaz pitched well there early in the season and has good history at the site. Still that was the beginning of the season. In 3 of his last 4 starts he was terrible. Lester 17-3 at home and the entire Boston team intent on revenge. Last year Kaz in day games was 2-5 with a 4.71 era in his day games. On 2 occasions he pitched well with this umpire. There are real arguments both ways but I come back to strong proud team getting revenge from a starter who is not in form and think the risk reward warrants action.

Boston: Again, strong home team, had them yesterday when they came back. Wasn't crazy about the -147 price flying around and really believe either Kazmir throws a gem and shut the BoSox down or he blows up, there is no middle ground with him. In the case that Kazmir threw a gem, Id prefer to lose that bet at even money. Staying with the theme of pitching matchups, Shields had beaten Penny the 1st time and lost the 2nd time. Hopefully Lester beats Kazmir the 2nd time. I just don't think he has it right now and a patient lineup like the Sox will drive his pitch count up and his nerves through the roof.

ATL 1st 5: I want to bet solely against Blanton and his 10.05 home era. Vazquez is an effective pitcher who strikes out a bunch of hitters, gives up a few runs, and sticks around for a minimum of 6 innings. Thats just what he does. I dont really like the Braves lineup this yr but Blanton at home is a fade for me. This is just a bad park for Blanton who has surrendered 5hr in 3 games at Citizens

Toronto: Simply a fade of Oakland vs LHP. Yea, Tallet has given up 15 runs on the road, 10 of which came in a bad start at KC, otherwise, if you take that blow up out of the equation, his numbers as a starting pitcher are fairly solid. Gallagher, is his arm stretched out yet? His longest outting is 3.2ip. I cant see him going over 5ip today. Oakland used their 3 best RP yesterday and used Bailey who imo is their best for 2ip so I doubt he is available. Oakland is going to have to show me they can be effective against LHP otherwise at a PK I gota go against them.
 
True enough and they are the better team. Adding Texas and Cleveland. Just convenience spots. Colon is waiting tomorrow for texas and Cleveland a sitting duck for Detroit in a day game tomorrow so they really need this game. do not see texas as any lock. Just a good team with a good pitcher that is 12-7 at night to WS 7-12 at night.
 
i'm on the angels (+111) and over 8 (+110) in the late game. also, on canucks and over 5 in NHL. sucks because i'm a huge bhawk fan.
