Heinekens, I have already looked at the Phillie/Marlins game and as bad as Miami is, I dont like Hamels starting on Sat.He has allowed 13 earned runs in 10 2/3 innings of work in 2013. Both of his starts have gone over the seven-run total. And Hamels went 2-3 with a 3.09 ERA in five starts against the Marlins in 2012. Gotta look deep before I take a chance on him.


But I wish the hell U would remind me to stay as far away from the Angels and Tommy Hanson as I can...The have cost me heavily so this season.

i'm happy for your team that upton is producing. pretty sure he would not be doing the same here and prado is exactly what the dbacks have been needing for years. looks like it could be win-win with that trade
 
mrob, good to see we agree on Hamels. Phillies probally win against Miami, but I just cant support them today. Opponents are batting .348 against the three-time All-Star, 110 points higher than his career mark. Hamels had never previously lost his first two starts. Fernandez (0-0, 1.80), looked good Sunday in a 4-3 walkoff loss to the New York Mets. The 20-year-old right-hander allowed three hits and struck out eight over five innings of one-run ball, becoming the first starter under age 21 to fan at least eight in his MLB debut since David Clyde in 1973. I cant play Miami though because they are just plum terrible and Stanton is batting .167 with no RBIs for Miami (1-9), off to the worst start by any team since Baltimore and Houston dropped nine of their first 10 in 2010. The Marlins' start is their worst since opening 1-11 in 1998.

I know this will not be a popular play with Stephen Strasburg on the hill. And especially with Culbreth BTP where 19 of last 21 games stayed under the total. For those that have known me for a while, U will remember I was playing the umps heavily before it was the trendy thing to do, as far back to 99 on these forums. But when we have two good hitting teams with an big time Under ump, I do not put as much weight on the ump when capping the total. The Braves have had more success than any other team against the Nationals staff ace.The right-hander has suffered more losses to the Braves than any other team, going 3-3 with a 4.17 ERA. Strasburg gave up one run over six innings and struck out 10 in a 4-1 victory in the nation's capital on Aug. 21, but he was hardly at his best Sunday in Cincinnati. He was charged with six runs, nine hits and four walks over 5 1-3 innings in a 6-3 defeat.Hudson is 14-5 with a 2.65 ERA in 26 starts against the Nationals' franchise but was 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA in his three matchups last season. Braves avging 5 r/g while Nats avging 4.5 I look forward to this game today to see if I'm right here

Irish...I play these large parlays everyday and over the yr I come out way ahead. I know the 'professional' gamblers dont like parlays and that feeling rolls over to the everyday gamblers. I am not afraid to post them, I just know it does no one any good here and just waste my time I just felt real good about today so thought I would post all of the parlays.

Blood I do the same thing daily. I had an 8 team ml parlay yesterday that would have paid me $3000 off $20. I covered every single leg but the Tigers screwed me over in the 12th.

Good to know that Wire and the ole hound are not by ourselves Let it be noted that my overall philosophy on parlays is using them as a little insurance by buying runs, pts, baskets or whatever.
