First thoughts are Wizards (and Over there) and Bucks (though OT loss last night can really hurt them)

did the gs line really drop 3 pts because iggy is out???

its a bad spot for the blazers... gs 1q is definitely a play, it was -6.5 before yesterdays game, now its -3.5

I see him listed as questionable everywhere but some reports say he's still having headaches so if that's true, I doubt he's back in today

If Curry is out, GS is in trouble. Once Iggy went down, Harrison Barnes was running the offense. Not his comfort zone. Other option is Bazemore and he's a mess. All over Blazers if no Curry, and definitely Under.

denver 18-2 SU last 20 saturday home games

dallas on a b2b in altitude in the 1st game of the home n home with the nuggets

but of course tony brothers has to be in denver... will prob put the nuggets in a ml parlay

Lean Sacto +10.5 and Blazers pending Curry's status.

Don't see much in the way of totals I like today. Maybe the under in Denver.

Thoughts for tonight:

Indy - Sixers - I would lean the Pacers here. I think that Sixers are very weak team and Young's and Wroten's absence can be meaningful (and the fact that Wroten is actually important miss, says it all about this team).
Hawes should be owned in the paint by Hibbert and I just can't see how Sixers can handle the Pacers under the boards. The problem is that the line is huge, so will probably skip.

Knicks - Wizards - I realize that Knicks play decent on the road, this is their first game of the roadtrip and that Wizards play 4th game in 5 days. But still, Wizards off a loss, need to start winning and usually play well at home.
I would lean Over here, either overall Over in 1st half or Wizards TT Over in 1st quarter - stats support both plays strongly.

Hawks - Boston - I think that Boston play horrible this season, even by their own low expectations this season. I watched them only twice (one of the games they even won), but they simply play poorly and can't hold on to lead, can't make good runs and allow rivals to get back in to games. If Hawks will play this one hard, it will be a beating...

Heat - Magic - haven't watched even one game by one of the teams so far this season, but Magic played the Heat well several times. I think that I wouldn't bet the Heat here for sure. Can't see any reason for them to get up for this one.

Houston - Minny - the line is really high and can't see any reason for that. Pekovic can handle Howard more or less and Minny can be very stubborn rival. The only problem is that i expect very high score here, so 7 points here is something that Rockets can make in one minute.
Still, so far, Minny lost only 6 games, only one by more than 7 points...

Bucks - Cats - Bucks slowly get their players back and it's time to start getting some wins and to play at home against Charlotte... almost the easiest game they got in the next few weeks. Playing B2B after OT worries a bit, but still...

Have no idea about the game in SA.

Denver - Dallas - I would lean Dallas +5, but the feeling is that this is exactly what bookies want. It's very hard to back a team playing B2B in Denver, so skipping this one.

GSW - Portland - Portland are the best team in the league as far as lowering three point percentage of rival teams and against GSW, that means a lot. If Curry is out (and Iggy is out), Portland can win this one easily.
But still, very hard to play against GSW in Oakland, so still thinking about this one...

You should have a clear idea about the Spurs game. If you do not---look harder.

But I see big similarity between the last time Wolves lost and covered and today's game. They played in LA, against Clippers, got 8 points line and almost won the game.
btw, Minny covered twice in a loss (to Cleveland they also covered).

To be more accurate, Wolves are 3 - 0 ATS this season as underdogs.

To be honest, don't see anything interesting in Spurs game, but have no time to look at the total, so maybe missing something. If you got some info, do share...

Regarding Indiana. Likely playing Indiana first quarter and first half. No real feel for game but probably lean them for game as well. Covers is all about Philadelphia first quarter and first half. Not what I am seeing.

Spurs game--. To start with Spurs going into Memphis were off 2 ATS losses with the last one deliberate. If Pops opts to dump a game ATS I suspect he will do it before the OKC game with NO so he can cancel out the 2 ATS losses with Cleveland. Not saying he will but it is possible. In 2013 Spurs are 0-2 ATS vs Cleveland with a very tight game at Spurs. This season Cleveland is much weaker. Spurs in a young season have 6 ATS losses. That is going to be corrected. Spurs are very rested here with the 4 days off before Boston. If you look at Cleveland this season on the road they can crushed easily by much bigger numbers than this. That said it is Pops and he can always surprise. Here first the Boston game and then a blowout seem likely to me.

Spurs have dropped their last 4 Saturday home games ATS. Spread also opened at 11.5 which is pretty much the worst fave line of the last 5+ years...

Regarding Minn---you could be right but the next 7 teams Minn plays after Houston are Teams I think they want more and they are playing 4 in 5 here.

I really want to hammer GS today, but I want to know if Curry is playing. Where is the best place to get this info? thanks.

Don Best is pretty good. They show ?
Think GS wins but Cover might be close.
Last night Portland was down by 15 and got saved by Rose getting hurt. First real contact with a quality team. Portland is playing 5 in 7 to GS 4 in 6. Refs 21-6 to home team winning. Too many question marks right now but clear lean to GS

  • The Spurs will be without forward Boris Diaw, who suffered a rib contusion after a collision with a photographer’s camera in the second half of Friday’s game against Memphis. The cause of the injury upset coach Gregg Popovich. “We’re going to continue to moan and groan about it,” Popovich said. ”We have many times. It’s going to make a big difference at some point. You complain in the street about cars here and there: ‘We need a stop sign.’ But the stop sign doesn’t go up until some little kid gets killed. I have a feeling that when of the big boys breaks an ankle or something because all of those people are right there, under the bucket, then maybe something will get done.” Popovich did not say how long Diaw will be out. Diaw was averaging 11.1 points.

portland is in the same spot the pistons were in on wednesday

Stephen Curry will play for the Warriors after a two-game absence due to a mild concussion sustained on Monday. That’s a huge deal for a Golden State club which has struggled mightily without their point guard; the Warriors dropped both games Curry missed and are averaging 118.1 points per 100 possessions with Curry on the floor, compared to 87.6 without him.
The Warriors don’t have much of a safety net behind Curry. Small forward Andre Iguodala, who has also been serving as Curry’s backup, is out after suffering a strained left hamstring during Golden State’s 102-95 loss to the Lakers on Friday night in Los Angeles.
With veteran point guard Toney Douglas (stress reaction, left tibia) also unavailable, coach Mark Jackson can get Curry some rest either by putting the ball in the hands of shooting guard Klay Thompson or giving time to second-year guard Kent Bazemore and/or rookie Nemanja Nedovic. The problem? The latter two have been substandard, at best, through 13 games.
Coach Terry Stotts may have guided Portland to the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference, but he maintains he’s not hearing much of the talk surrounding the Trail Blazers’ nine-game winning streak — tied for the league’s longest with San Antonio. “I’ll be honest, I don’t know how much noise there is,” Stotts said. “Obviously, we know we’ve got a winning streak, but it’s so early in the season . . . we haven’t proven anything. We haven’t done anything. And we have a lot to prove.”
