Tough game to cap for me. Malone really does a very good job in Denver. They are (almost) healthy and they are fighting and the injuries helped them bring out the best oit of Harris, Burton and the Balkanians...
Detroit a bit more skilled and also very well coached. I would be worried about Jennings comments that they don't have a leader in a locker room...
I think that Detroit should be -2 on a neutral floor, so would expect the line to be about two points lower, but not sure if I want to play this number.
Both teams in decent form, Denver have similar record at home and on the road, but this is clearly a home team series, with home team winning in all four games the last two seasons and 7 of the last 8 games.
The line is -3 now, so small lean on Detroit, but nothing solid...
One point is that it's very hard to see who can guard Drummond or Jackson. Faried is too small I believe and Denver doesn't have one good defensive point guard...
Leaning the Pistons, but probably a skip...

"Great" start for Smith's second stint with the Rockets. 1 from 10 from the field... He did give nice numbers in other aspects (5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks), but -8 in +/- and four fouls.

Plums is playing awesome for the Blazers. He's so involved in this offense. Such a good ball handler for his size and really good passer. Overall well rounded player. Fuck the nets for letting him get away.

What about it? The nuggets still have trouble closing games. Mudiay needs to not go in for that layup. Team is learning end of game situations in front of our eyes. Past 7 games on this home stand have been decided by a combined 21 points.
