I bet Houston at 2.5 this afternoon. I am really not clear why people want to play the Bulls at home on Saturday. Perhaps that's not true. I can make arguments for Chicago and that
that would involve betting on Chicago at home..

So ...on or off Chicago ?

I am playing Atlanta. Right now I have Atlanta as probably the best NBA team around. They are gliding through the games with nothing phoney unlike GS with the amazing rest they have had. To just use one comparison Atlanta allows on average 96.6 points a game while scoring 103.2. Chicago allows 99.3 and scores 102.4. Atlanta is 7-3 in b-b to Chicago 5-6. Chicago as a home dog is 0-1 this season and 3-9 last 3 years. Chicago is 8-8 vs winning teams ATS while Atlanta is 15-2 vs winning teams. There is a long list of angles but the bottom line is Atlanta is just Better.

is that a good or bad thing?

For who? :)

I always believe that when star player or head coach have a birthday, them and their players/ teammates have special motivation.

Bulls, since Thibodeau started to coach them, have yet to lose ATS on his b-day. 3 - 0 ATS and 2 - 1 SU.

Scary. Lot of interesting games. Probably a good one to Watch is Memphis. No Conley apparently. No real centers for Portland but lots of trends that support Portland. Very good in b-b and on the road on Saturday. lean Minn but unsure if I bet it. Denver 2-8 last 10 as an 8.5 fav and looking past Minn to an engagement with GS.
Houston operating with triple revenge and GS getting to play their first 4 in 5.
Regarding Chicago I have Atlanta minus 2.5 and a bite more on the ML. I have been fading Chicago at home for a long time. Its not going to stop until they experience the miracle of 2 days off

Yeah, why would you wanna play a team at home, that's just a dumb idea. And atlanta is the better team and the better team always wins right?
Interesting I was on 5 dogs yesterday so because I play a favorite I am Mr. Chalk.

totally agree....this is a bullshit line imo....it should be atl 6 or 7....which actually makes me wonder...the only way atl doesn't cover is if they don't show up

seriously?? you really think because a head coach has a birthday that the players play harder....imo that just does not make sense....i cannot think of a single athletic contest i have ever played in my life where someones birthday made me play any different....and nba players are the most self centered of every major sport...i doubt if half the roster players on the bulls bench tonight even know that it's a birthday....and why should they

atl because they play up to their comp and i am assuming that that noah is out....they are just better and do not see any reason they do not try

hou...because i think gsw is exhausted....they tried to get back in the game last night and expended all they had....imo

clips jumped from an open of 6.5 to 9.....why?.....don't get it...clips sucked last night and why should we think they are going to change current form from last night to tonight against a sac team at home....maybe?

You know, I respect everyone's right to handicap a game in the manner in which they see fit (whether I agree with it or not), but when we start getting into things like birthdays and astrology...

Anyone else find it annoying when the camera always cuts to Steve Kerr laughing and joking with the refs ?

Haven't seen a coach as jovial with the officials as Kerr.

Houston not only loses but does not win a quarter. Portland----it ended a close game but was not a close game. Lillard took 26 shots going 9 of 26. Memphis was 16-24 on free throws.
Have no idea what to expect from Toronto Sunday morning. I know the past but Toronto is 2-6 last 8 and the 2 wins are vs Philadelphia and Boston. Like Indiana they are becoming a joke but they face a NO 7-15 road team that really owes them serious effort after losing 6 in a row to them

You know, I respect everyone's right to handicap a game in the manner in which they see fit (whether I agree with it or not), but when we start getting into things like birthdays and astrology...

Well, if you choose to miss important angle, it's your right.

Basketball players and coaches all over the world won't agree with you...
How many times I heard players talking before or after the game, how they wanted to win the game for their coach, since it's his birthday... Many many many times.

In Israel, in the NBA, in Europe - Dozens of times at least...
