Tuesday Night--Arkansas State at South Alabama--The Red Wolves come in as a slight favorite today and looking to get back Fredi Knighten who is listed as probable. Knighten was underwhelming in his first two starts against USC and Missouri completing 41% while throwing six Int's. Arkansas has struggled against on the road albeit against good competition in USC and Toledo. The concerning part about the Toledo loss is their absolute inability to run the ball against a Toledo defense which my squad, Iowa State, absolutely gashed. South Alabama get a National TV tilt at home as an underdog tonight. South Alabama offense has been inconsistent with solid games against Gardner-Webb, San Diego State and Troy. The defense has been solid allowing 293 yds per game excluding the Power 5 squads of NC State and Nebraska. Arkansas State's offense will score some points but Knighten doesn't scare me through the air. Coming off a nice road win at Troy I like the Jaguars in this one as the National TV home dog.
