Rochclone Week 4 NCAAF

rochclone

Pretty much a regular
Small profit last week. Still down approximately 10 units for the year. Will update record later tonight.

Thursday Night Play:

Georgia Tech +10.5 (2.8 Units)--A big step up for the Yellow Jackets obviously but Clemson has struggled in recent years playing in Atlanta. I also like the way that Georgia Tech ran the ball against a solid Vandy defense last week. Although the Yellow Jackets have good defensive numbers I only find them to be average and they will likely surrender 27-35 points tonight. But they have been adequate against the run 115 yds per game and 3.6 yds per carry so far. Clemson really has struggled against Georgia Tech in the past when they have been unable to run the ball for 4.5+ yds per carry. If GT can continue to stop the run then they have a great chance at a SU win in my opinion.

Prediction: Clemson 31 Georgia Tech 28

Like Wyoming a lot tonight. I thought they played very well at Nebraska and that was a game still in the middle of the 3rd quarter. I expect that Eastern Michigan will see a lot of Brian Hill tonight behind an offensive line that is grinding out over 215 rushing yards per game and has allowed only one sack this year. Average rush of 4.8 yards per carry. E Michigan has been decently defensively so far this year but the stats are skewed because of games against Miss. Valley State and E. Michigan. Missouri throttled them by 40 points in Week two and looking at that game compared to Wyoming's game against Nebraska I think this is a big step up for EMU. Unless EMU is +2 or better in turnovers this should be a 14+ game.

Prediction : Wyoming 45 EMU 27

Like TCU a little tonight but it is tough to back that team on the road although SMU did not look sharp against Liberty.

Like USC for a small wager tonight at Utah. Still a very talented 1-2 squad and I think this one is decided by a FG or less either way. Utah is going to struggle to score tonight. If USC gets to 21 that should be enough for at least a cover.

Rest of the plays are up at least through 4:00 p.m. CST tomorrow. Played WMU and Buffalo early.

Other late games that will be bigger wagers will be Ball State, Colorado, Arkansas and Washington. Gl to all tonight and throughout the weekend.
