Rochclone NCAAF Week 4

rochclone

Pretty much a regular
Futures:

Utah Over 7.5 Wins 3.20 Units to win 3.68 Units 3-0 and thinking I'm in good shape on this one. Pac-12 is tough and long way to go.

Western Kentucky Over 7.5 Wins 4.80 Units to win 3.00 Units 2-1 and still liking my position.....the loss of Leon Allen is a major issue.

Iowa State Over 3.0 Wins 6.60 Units to win 4.00 Units 1-2 nothing short of unbelievable. 32 yd FG miss at the end of the regulation or else they are 2-1. Win against KU and then will need another for a push.

Thursday Night Play:

Memphis -7.5 (3.0 Units)--Top unit play tonight and despite the money coming in on G. Kiel and the Bearcats I think Memphis is going to take the Bearcats to the woodshed. Memphis is an extremely experienced offense and it has shown through the first three games. Lesser competition against Missouri State and Kansas but against Bowling Green last weekend they came back from down 10 points; holding Bowling Green scoreless on their last three possessions. Paxton Lynch has completed over 75% of his passes and has a 6:0 TD/INT ratio. The offense is averaging 54 points and 570 yards per game. The defense is rebuilt this year and although they have given up yards they have done a nice job of getting stops when necessary. 354 yards per game and 24 points per game for the Memphis defense. The offense puts up so many points this year that eventually the defense is able capitalize as the opposition starts to take chances.

Cincy will apparently have Gunner Kiel tonight. I quite frankly don't think it matters. Kiel has had a nice completion pct. but has thrown 4 INTS in 2.5 games. Certainly Kiel getting knocked out of the Miami (Ohio) game must be taken into consideration but Cincy was struggling before he was hurt. At the time he was injured Cincy was up 24-23 in the 3rd quarter. Bottom line is that the Bearcats have not done a good job of taking care of the ball...-8 in Turnovers this year. The defense is going to struggle mightily against the accuracy of Paxton and the memories of 41-14 from last year have to be in the back of the Bearcats. I love Justin Fuentes and think he is going to be a great...not good...but great P5 coach someday. Add in the fact that Kiel is probably 80% at best and I think this will be an absolute blood bath.

Memphis 48 Cincy 24

Memphis Over 39.0 (0.6 Unit)
