Thought I had a 14-6 final in that one.Really like the next four bowl games and I'm looking to make a little run before Christmas. Miami Beach Bowl--What Fuentes has done in Memphis is remarkable. I have to think this guy will get a look at a Power 5 job in the next two years. The team is built like a SEC squad. Great defense and a solid running game with a game manager at quarterback to compliment. The key to Memphis' turnaround is Paxton Lynch who has a 3:1 (18:6) TD/INT ratio. Lynch has done a nice job completing 64% of his passes. That Tiger offense is averaging 423 yds per game with a really good running game averaging a tad over 192 yds p/g. But the defense is where the Tigers make a living. Giving up 3.6 yds per carry and 127 yards per game on the ground. Good pass defense giving up less than 54% completion and they have done it against some solid clubs including UCLA, Cincy, Ole Miss, and Houston. If Brandon Haynes can establish the ground game then Memphis is tough to beat. BYU has been through some adversity and although C. Stewart has a had a nice year this is a team that has struggled to be consistent due to the injuries. The O-Line is giving up almost 3 sacks a game and although the rushing game is averaging over 190 yds a game it has not been as consistent without Hill and Williams. Ultimately the BYU defense has struggled late in the year as well. In the last 9 games of the season the Cougars have given up 389 yds or more 7 times. The only exceptions have been Savannah State and Middle Tenn State. Prediction and Play: Memphis 31 BYU 20Memphis/BYU Under 56.0 ($25)Memphis -2.0 ($225)
