My sentiments exactly. RIP Zim.

Zim was in MLB for 66 years! That's incredible, I wonder how many other guys have ever been in MLB for that many years...has to be a handful at most I would guess.

Pretty awesome to listen to the ex-players and coaches talking about him.....hard to explain for me, but I identify baseball ,in part, with Don Zimmer. But, seeing as he was in the game for even longer than i have been alive...really great guy.

Damn Zimmer has passed away, Jeter and Vin Scully are retiring at seasons end...baseball losing some icons that can't be replaced.

I don't think he has made up his mind yet. He has hinted that this will be it but not straight up said it yet. For selfish reasons I hope he can squeeze another year out.
