So Kap is suing the NFL because he hasn't been hired and is saying he is being blackballed - why does a team have to hire him if they feel he is not a good fit for their team / business?

There is as close to zero upside to a Kap hire as there could possibly be to a hire in that league. I cannot think of a worse hire. What do you gain?

As a general rule, doing things that cost your current and potential future employers Millions upon Millions (billions?) of dollars is probably not a good way to get hired.

I thought he was arguing collusion, thats something that if true he would have a case for

But even if it was true, these owners arent dumb, impossible to prove

His stats from 2016 pretty much mirrored jimmy g last year and people are going nuts for jimmy

I think realistically hes somewhere between the 20th-40th best qb right now

But if an owner or gm think his politics might cause issues within the team or to a majority of the fan base, its a no brainer to not bring him in

I thought seattle last summer made sense, but in hindsight its clear russ has zero respect in that lockerroom, so bringing in anyone half decent would be a mistake
