Question for the Lions Fans here

Are you rooting for Stafford to win another ring?
Well...

With a future to pay out 27.5 units I absolutely am!

(Full disclosure, as I've posted before, I have Seattle to win 25.0 units as well).

All that being said...

There are a few segments of Lions fans... I wouldn't call it a 50/50 at all but there is a split. Let's say 70/30 as a best guesstimate on Stafford.

The realistic fans realize the guy played his ass off here and was given exactly one season with a legit running game. He was given maybe 2 years of a legit D (2014 was one of those and an iffy call in Dallas destroyed that playoff run). He did a lot with what he had. He's a tough SOB that never wanted to come out of a game.

Detractors point to lack of playoff success. Duly noted but the organization has failed HOF players before. I think we've gotten past the point of "he has Calvin Johnson otherwise he would suck". He's shown enough in the last ten years to squash those thoughts.

Anyways, I've been a Fratty fan since he was at Georgia. You can go back almost 20 years here and see my posts pumping the guy up. He's a damn good(great) QB. I wasn't actively rooting for him right when he left but once my future bets were eliminated a few years back I rooted for him and the Rams.

Love to see it again this year as well. My life will go on though if/when they lose tomorrow. They have to play a much cleaner game than they have been the last month +. That first half into the 3rd in Seattle was beautiful. That was the really a great example of the first 3/4 of the season for the Rams. That 4th took a lot of them! The inconsistent nature since then is interesting. Let's see if they can put it all together tomorrow.

Two other notes...

The best viewing SB imo is Pats vs Rams.

That would be the least ugly matchup. Add in the two MVP finalists facing off. Old man Stafford vs the up and coming star in NE. Great storylines!

Also, let's say the Rams win it all. Fratty enters the hall as a Ram, right? You almost have to.

(Edit: is this like baseball where it means so much as to which hat you don't!? ).

Stafford and Justin Verlander have similar Detroit to championship team stories...
