I am on the road yesterday & today. Not going to be able to do usual short write up on McElroy podcast. Will gradually add to this post as I can regarding his selections.

He already said on Tuesday that his “pick of week” is USC - 6.5

Same broadcast he called for Texas outright win.

Week 12 selections:

Clemson @ Ville - He took Clemson and he had line at +3 to +3.5 but listening to his comments I do not think his opinion would change at current # of 2.5

ND @ Pitt +12 - He took Pitt was high on Pitt QB & passing attack. He thinks ND wins game

SoCar @ Aggies -20 Selects "Aggies victory by 21 or more." He was convincing. That S Carolina offense agst Aggie defense won’t go well

UVA @ Duke ? I can’t remember the line he had but he took Duke bc of the unknown re Chandler Morris UVA’s QB. If Morris played it could change his mind. ( I will not ever bet Duke again this year after watching Mensa slide down in the last 4 minutes of the game against Clemson. It was like 3rd & 8 in RZ and he gets loose to make 1st down but slides about 1.5 yds short to avoid contact. Biggest wuss move seen by college QB ever….and it was dumb.)

UCF @ Texas Tech He takes Tech, but I do not remember him enunciating the line. He also had concerns re UCF RB (Montgomery) and QB (jackson) injury status.

OU @ Bama - He's calling the game so no selection. He sounded as if he like Bama but had some concerns. (FWIW I am laying 6 with Bama)

Florida @ Ole Miss - "Ole Miss will route Florida." He was polite but he does not think Lagaway will do well for one.

Utes @ Baylor +8.5 - I do not know what line he had. He took Baylor plus the points. and Utah to win the game.. He was quite high on Baylor QB (Sawyer __) and thier TE (Trigg) was one of his main reasons.

Texas @ GA - Sorry I do not remember what he had as line. He took Texas. He did say this "It's a matter of which QB you trust the most."

TCU @ BYU - Again, i was driving and cannot remember line he gave. He took BYU and mentioned BYU controlling the game, temperature, at home and altitude.

Added Kevin Sheehan picks. I like his Clemson pick and am leaning that way myself. The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is that I have no reason for liking Clemson except the fact they seemed like they were going to be so good before the season started

Usually do not post my selections. There are so many here that are so much beter. But, I "feel" good about these. So today should be a good tell on just how good - or bad - I can be. Made these throughout the week some before, some after McElroy pod.

NOT ONE WINNER 0-6.

I did not take Baylor but did take BYU & San Diego State to go 2-6.

Also took Penn State 2H but lost on Bama Over 2H to go 1-1

Probably will take Baylor & BYU, see how the day goes

I seem to remember it down at -8 and as high as arounf -14.

I always wanted to take Ole Miss but this is a selection based on McElroy. He essentially said the same thing about Ole Miss as he did Notre Dame last week and he was 100% correct. So with my lean and McElroy saying Ole Miss "wins in a route" he confirmed my bias and I went with it
