Player Suspended For Betting On Games

This guy may be one of the dumbest players in the NFL. First the jumping out a window to save his nephew story now this.

That being said I can't wait to find out more info on this. What games did he bet? Did he bet often? Winner/Loser?

I think if you’re an employee of any kind of a professional sports franchise it’s illegal for you to bet on that particular sport. I worked for a guy that was in marketing for the blazers and he had to sign papers acknowledging that he would lose his job if he gambled on NBA

it’s not related to sports, but if You work for the NY Lottery, employees cannot win the jackpots ( meaning even if you win, u can’t cash ).....this includes the scratch-offs and online games.....
Not sure about other state’s.....

Per NFL network he was with a group of people at a sportsbook and and bets were placed on games, not clear that he was making the actual

Yup. Just like employees and relatives of employees can’t win radio station contests if they work there. Lottery is the same in other states as well.

I mean, still tho.

I swear it’s always a little off to me if a player bets against his own team

Especially when on the team.....makes it a liiiiiiiiitle dirty in my book
For sure. I guess the thing here with me is he hasn't even been around the team at all this season.

I wonder if this revives „the nfl is fixed“ discussions. Obv this wouldn’t be top-down but bottom-up and very partial. I mean there are examples like that Toledo guy but he was taken out of the game after fumbling on purpose so that didn‘t work out for the fixers

The f up part is that he put down “ professional football player “ when he open an account with Cesar’s sportsbook........
