I was on them last week and thought they looked very impressive against WVU.
I am no Big East expert, but I am on Pitt ml.

It's uconn's last home game for its seniors.. advantage uconn..
donald brown's last game as hes probably going to the draft.. he'll want to perform..
I see both teams giving up a ton of yards on the ground, it will come down to who can convert into points..
think both stull and lorenzen will have some turnovers..
truthfully, its going to be an ugly game.. im a homer but probably not going to play it, it should be a good crowd so id lean Home team.. but both teams so inconsistent..
Uconn will be missing: MLB greg llyod, reserve outside linebacker cj marck, and RB andre dixon who has been used sparingly. Darius butler is still out, but TE Steve Brouse is back.

As much slack as Wanny takes from this board, he has had one of his better seasons. He can attribute that to his outstanding tailback. I typically play Pitt games much like the NFL. Rarely is there a blowout. Wanny coaches to keep it close rather than to win in the first quarter. That is why he hardly covers large lines. However, I love to play them on short lines. I'll be on Pitt in another low close game. Give me the points.

i hope BigEastExpert is on PITT this week over at blankets, dude's been on fire all year! he's one of a small handful of people over there i search out every week to see what he's on...

Honestly this matchup might be more even than BC/VT
Initially was leaning PITT
UConn very good pass defense and both have good run defenses although PITTs is probably a tad better. UConn is as one dimensional offensively as they come.
From watching the USF-UConn game I came away unimpressed from either team
PITT goes to sun bowl if they win if they lose still good chance they go to sun bowl
----UNDER we are getting upper 40's in a game I think should be lined in high 30s low 40s
no turnovers or and this should go anything although UCOnn games usually involve this kind of wacky stuff and also Stull, Lorenzen they will throw the opponent the ball

Yeah. I am a lurker over there too Mogo, and BEE is a good capper. I like this board so much better. I only look at a few dudes over there too. Matter of fact guy named Wahoos over there is damn good and was complaining about the atmosphere overe there. I suggested he come over here and was promptly sent to the box. At least I don't think he is over here, unless he has a different screen name.
Jimbo on this board saw my subliminal message to Wahoos, but I guess so did the mods.

Kristin, here are some of my random thoughts on the game. I am a Pitt homer and I can tell you this is exactly the type of game I have come to expect Pitt to lose. Uconn has been excellent at home over the past few seasons and Pitt has struggled against Uconn since they joined the Big East. Pitt is coming off a huge, emotional win against WVU and really does not have much to gain here. As much as I hate to say it, I think Uconn wins by double digits tomorrow.
