No beefs from the Clemson side. I think Watson has potential to be one of the top QBs but he has to prove he can stay healthy. I think Elliot, Chubb, Perine, Fournette and Henry are pretty interchangeable. I would have had Connor 4th team though

Only 1 non-Power 5 player on the 1st or 2nd teams (Higgins, WR) but the smaller D-IA schools get 4 on the 3rd team and 5 on the 4th team.

and duds I assume you mean the RB position by "funny" as I said.......other guys are good, I just think Lenny is better than 3rd team....and will be drafted as such

what are Heisman odds....if anyone has them? I do not just curious...

As far as Jamal Adams being left off.....some team in the NFL is getting a better Eric Reid.......I am just shocked he wasn't mentioned. Maybe him being an underclassmen..

IMO it seems like the college RBs this year are going to be as good as they've been in a while. It's a tremendously deep and powerful group. Look at the size of these guys from ESPN pages at the end of last year which are likely their pre-2014 measurements though I'm not certain of that

Chubb 5'10 220
Elliott 6'0 225
Conner 6'2 250
Perine 5'11 237
Fournette 6'1 230
Henry 6'3 238
Freeman 5'11 230
Booker 5'11 212

From the Alabama side, I find it hard to believe there are 8 OTs better than Cam Robinson. And I don't care what anyone says, JK Scott is the best punter in the country. I understand why he's not on the list, but Jarran Reed is probably our best DL and think he will be a 1st round draft pick next May. Derrick Henry is certainly All-American talent when he's healthy, but I'd take Fournette over any of the guys listed. If Kenyan Drake stays healthy, he'll be on one of these by season's end. OJ Howard looks like an All-American, but haven't seen it on the field yet.

Aguayo is back? Love that guy.

TCU's Boykin is first team AA no doubt and will win the Heis if he gets to play enough.

Maybe I am a homer(ok, not maybe)....I think Fournette is a once in a while back, and I am almost certain he is drafted higher than most those others

but yea it is deep dwhite

yea this is another one

Oakman is overrated to me, would rather about 4 other DEs there instead.

Is Ramsey a corner or safety? Either way, he is first team.

Zettel (West Branch) is a beast but first team?

Myles Jack not on a first team is a crime.

waiting for Fournette to take over my RB crush for Gurley, is he going to get a ton of carries this year? Seems LSU always has a stable and rotate. Agree with all you said. Should be closest thing to Adrian since, well maybe Gurley. Hope he stays healthy unlike Todd.

At CB Ramsey is not better than Fuller or VH3.

VH3 is the best cure CB I have ever seen IMO. Dude is just unreal

he will get a heavy dose, but you know Miles......and like you said, the stable is pretty deep with some badassess

but none like him....the dude I respect most on HS foots in LA said he is the best player he has seen since Ed Reed

I was surprised that LF led by as many carries as he did last year. I would think that margin grows a bunch this year.

Kessler over Boykins is silly imo. And Barrett not on the list is also nuts. Henry (RB, Bama) should be higher

he will get a bunch, no doubt.....but the roster is sick

some real badass youngsters there

they say(not sure if really true) that LF will return kicks again (housed one vs ND in bowl game loss).....that is how fast this guy is....that size and that fast..they say he is the fastest on the team or top 3 at worst

The names are ridiculous. What is wrong with parents now?

You ought to go read some of my man, Dan Jenkins, books. Can't remember if it was Baja Oklahoma or Life It's on Ownself. He had some funny f'ing names for the college athletes. Best sports fiction writer in the history. Not even close. Not really old enough to know about his real sports writing, but know he's well respected and a legend ... Tiger woods or not.

CC, did you notice that South Carolina has two defensive linemen named Gerald Dixon?

Southern familial relationships can be tortured.
Sometimes our family trees really do make circles.
But I believe this has to be a first, South Carolina has two redshirt sophomore defensive tackles with the same name.
Meet Gerald Dixon, Jr., who was born on March 30th, 1993.
Then you can meet Gerald Dixon who was born on August 7th, 1993.
Both players are the son of former South Carolina defensive tackle Gerald Dixon, Sr.
I'm not sure that you can beat the younger Gerald Dixon's personal section of his bio if you tried. It's like the opening line to a novel that every single one of you would keep reading: "Gerald Gervoris Ky'Trell Dixon goes by "Lil' G"... was born August 7, 1993... is the younger half-brother of teammate Gerald Dixon Jr... father, Gerald Dixon Sr., played at Carolina from 1990-91"
I can't stop thinking about the athletic department intern typing this bio up who was like, "Okay, is the T after the Ky apostrophe capitalized? Okay, and, I'm sorry, but is it Little G? No. How do you spell that? L-i-l-apostrophe? Okay. And, sorry again, but is that a capital G or a lil' g?"
Meanwhile, born five months apart with different moms but the same name?
And you thought your Thanksgiving was tough.
In Thanksgiving of 1993, Gerald Dixon, Sr. had two sons with two different moms and the same name.
It's probably fair to say these two moms aren't sitting side-by-side at the football games.
As much as you might like to think that I spend every minute of every day scouring SEC rosters for familial anomalies, Outkick was made aware of this amazing feat via reader email:

"I was recently looking at the South Carolina football roster and noticed that there were two redshirt sophomores named Gerald Dixon. At first I thought some SID intern just forgot to update the roster but I noticed that while they were both from Rock Hill, SC, they went to different high schools. It turns out that they are half brothers. So not only did Gerald Dixon get two women pregnant in the same year, he convinced both to name their kid after him, and then both kids turned out to be stud defensive linemen. Why is this not a national story?! Gerald Dixon Sr. might be a more legendary father than Orlando Shaw!"
As if that wasn't enough Gerald Dixon, Sr. got both kids to enroll at South Carolina in the same year.
Then they redshirted in the same year.
Now both will see playing time on the defensive line this fall. In fact, Gerald Dixon, Jr. is listed as a co-starter.
As for Gerald Dixon, Sr., he's a PE teacher in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
And there's definitely a "you can blow my whistle, baby," joke to make here, but I'm far too mature to make it.
This is an amazing story, but just wait until Travis Henry's kids all become eligible to play college football.Tennessee is going to have an entire recruiting class made up just of Travis Henry's kids, who will all play different positions, and that class will probably be ranked number one in the nation.

I will have to try one of those... I don't think I have but I read so many books, I could be forgetting. I haven't read much particularly funny in awhile.

I do on occasion. Whenever I feel bad about myself, I go into the politics forum and leave feeling like a GOD.

Granted, I usually only debate things where my side is completely supported by facts and reality, so it isn't a major accomplishment to defend those positions.

World has changed. I have said several times you are probably the nicest guy I have met from CTG in person. We can fight like cats and dogs in the politics forum, and then spend hours together as good friends. As it should be and how it used to be in this Country.

Save this list.

I wonder how many No.1's will end up in the first round of the draft?
