PappyOSU
Pretty much a regular
NFL finished 6-7 down 4 units. You win some, you lose some, but you live to fight another day.
Pretty sure history was made on Sunday in the TEN/CHI game. Since Pappy was just a wee little lad all the way until the game Sunday, underdogs +4 or more who had a 17+ point lead in the game had been 66-1-1 ATS. No idea who the 1 loss and 1 push were, but I can guarantee that neither made their historical comeback VIA a blocked punt return, two 50 yard FGs, a pick 6, and a 2pt conversion. All while shutting their opponent out the entire second half and only managing 148 yards of total offense all game. And for that, Caleb Williams becomes the first #1 draft pick QB to win his NFL debut since David Carr in 2002.
So of course that was my top play on my board without a single qualifying source from any sector actually picking the Bears to cover... lol. That my friends is why you set limits and manage your bankrolls.
RIP to my survivor pool as well. No way Joe Burrow can lose to the Pats at home right!? Right??.....
MOVING ON. Its for the best.. lol.
Composite system recap:
Week 0 CFB 2-4 (down 3.5 units)
Week 1 CFB 13-11 (down 3.5 units)
Week 2 CFB 7-7 (up 2.5 units)
Week 1 NFL 6-7 (down 4 units)
YTD Combined 28-29 (down 8.5 units)
Not much to say here other than the record and the units both need work. Ill keep doing my best to identify the most popular plays of the week from the top publicly available sources I can find.
I will tinker a bit with the scoring system and see if I can get this thing going. My apologies to anyone who follows the system, hang in there w me, ill make it right.
