Dodgers won every series vs the Padres this season and overall went 14-5 vs them.
Padres refusing to sell tickets to anyone with a zip code above south orange county. LOL
Dodgers should have a huge pitching advantage in game 1 and probably get Darvish in game 2.
The Dodgers have smacked around both Manaea and Clevenger.

Maybe im wrong in doing this but I’m totally throwing out regular season for pads, fact Is when they made the deadline trades and added those 3 guys to the lineup I thought they just put themselves on par w lad lineup, obviously it didn’t play out that way in the regular season but they just looked way more like I expected vs 3 very good Mets pitchers. Pretty much everyone other than manny played well below their capabilities after the trade, the last 3 games I watched the lineup top to bottom take fantastic at bats against very good pitchers: my biggest concern for them Snell has to be way better. I think this series is going 5.

I’m assuming Darvish be pads gm2 starter? I can def get behind him vs Kershaw. I’ll prob lay the -1.5 w la or play their team total over gm 1, clevinger has looked like straight ass to me this year, lad has tagged him all 3x they saw him, he like the best guy they could have asked for with that layoff! He should get them right quick, lol. I havnt looked at how Urias pitched down the stretch or how he been against pads (even tho that don’t matter much to ma since I’m saying pads offense is better than it was all reg season right now), he the one dodger I trust to be nails in the playoffs tho, don’t think pads stealing gm 1 unless it late off the pen. Def a Ff play also.

To counter your argument....Kershaw is not the guy I would want to be facing if my team is down 1-0, event with my ace on the mound. He faced the Padres twice and threw 12 innings giving up 1 run.
If you ask me this series is going back to San Diego with the Dodgers up 2-0.
Maybe Im wrong and the Padres are suddenly a different team than the team the Dodgers beat 14 times this year but I just do not see it. The Dodgers are and have been in their heads for a long time.

The way I see it all pads need to do is watch lad expansive highlight reel of choking in the playoffs and should make them feel better
. If you right bout 2-0 going to Sd it be over fast, I just don’t buy it but I been wrong before. At least we agree on gm 1! lol

Yu was pretty dang dominant vs lad this year also, 3 of his 4 starts were very good. He did have that one where he didn’t have his best stuff and gave up bunch of runs early but even that game was able to battle and still go 6 innings. Obviously he can’t afford to do that against Kershaw but his stuff was fantastic on Friday and think he will be good once again. I’ll take plus money on him all day. If pads can work degrom for a couple runs I think they can do so vs Kershaw also. They not the same team they were in the regular season, they took fantastic at bats the entire WC round. I know Mets were destined to lose but just the at bats they took vs good pitching was far better than anything I saw from them in regular season.

The fact pads were able to make gm 1 close despite that loser clevinger giving them nothing was incredibly impressive to me. Getting 3 off Urias and getting him out the game after 5 innings bodes really well for their chances to beat Kershaw imo. Maybe I’ll get blowback here but for my money Urias a much better big game pitcher than Kershaw!! Pads even the series tonight!! Bottom pads lineup continues to produce, the top will tonight.
