Packers/Eagles thoughts and plays

Win4L

Pretty much a regular
Hey crew,

I’m equally excited and nervous about this weeks game. Here are some random thoughts:

- GB defense is going to be much better with Quay and Wilson back. Wilson’s presence greatly improves X’s ability to roam and spy which will be key in this game.

- Watson is surely a loss but this receiver group is deep and they are all bought in. I expect a big day from Wicks and to a lesser extent Melton. Doubs will get most of the defense attention.

- GB has a strong chance of possessing the ball first because when they win the toss they like to take the ball. Lafleur will have a great scripted 1st drive imo which should lead to points. There is also a strong chance the Philly offense will struggle in the first drive or 2 while Hurts shakes off the rust.

- Jacob’s is super excited about being in the playoffs and from what I have heard has the boys both ready and focused. They have been wanting this rematch since Brazil.

- Love has looked good in practice this week and is showing no issues with the hand. This is not a concern to me.

Play:

GB 1st half +3 (2 units)

GB 1st qtr ml (2 units)

Leans:

- GB+4.5

- Wicks TD

- Kraft over receiving yards

Good luck with whatever you guys play.

Go Pack Go!

Rush defence has improved significantly in their last 7 games, with only Detroit going for more than 100 yards (111), while the rest were 83 yards or less against SF, Miami, Seattle, NO, Minnesota and Chicago. In Week 1, Philly went for 144 yards and for half the season stopping the run was a weakness but things have changed. They will force Hurts to throw against a pretty good secondary. The Pack are a live dog here.

Go pack go!

Terrific write-up!

Really appreciate the tidbit on their approach if winning the toss.

Jacobs gets into the postseason -- another great tidbit.

This thread made my day and I'm glad I read it for my own purposes.

Great notes.

My Lions definitely had a tough time running versus that front. I said it in the in-game but that was wildly impressive. I think they just snuck over the 100 mark on the final drive with the big gamble on 4th.

My concern is whether or not they take the same approach as they typically do if they win the toss. I don’t see why not though. I feel very confident that their first drive will be a good one either way 🤞🏼
