Omaha Storm Chasers/New Orleans Baby Cakes

Seen Conley pitch last summer...he does look like batting practice (low to mid 80's)...his first few starts he got roughed up which is why you see the high numbers but his recent track record is fairly solid...the yard in New Orleans is a pitchers yard, can be fairly windy in favor of the pitcher most days...The park is situated in a strange location for those that are familiar with the New Orleans/BR area...it is situated near the airport which is actually in Metairie, LA...almost surrounded by water and/or swamp...key overlooked stat here is the Cake Babies (dumbest name ever by the way, nobody down here even uses the term baby cake) have had 14/17 home games go under 8.5 runs

Conley's last four starts...he falls into the little known statistical category called veteran crafty lefty status...he obviously has a clue because throwing in the mid to lower 80's is not a recipe to stick around long in AAA...this guys has found a way to do that, also has some big league time with success last year

5 inp, 2 runs...6 inp, 0 runs...8 inp, 2 runs...5.67 inp, 2 runs
