1) I fully expect Thudner to switch to Memphis Grizzlies mode last year, after they got Gasol back, the moment Durant comes back from injury.
2) Two of the three games aren't B2B, with Orlando at home in the middle - so I don't expect too much energy spent there.
3) Oklahoma lost to both NO and Memphis at home, so small revenge angle as well.
4) Oklahoma are desperate and NO is simply a game they can't afford to lose, no matter what, since before catching on the Suns, they need to catch on the Pelicans.

Bottom line, it's a matter of who do you think stronger. I think we can all agree that Oklahoma surely better than NO and Denver and surely more desperate. We can argue about Memphis and who is better, but assuming that Thunder will be catching 2 - 3 points, I think it's a very good line for series that been really really close lately.
Obviously all what I'm saying is assuming that Durant is playing and so on... Currently he is questionable for Memphis game and no way I would back Thunder ATS in Memphis without KD, unless they get at least 6.5 - 7 points.

Bottom line is until they bounce Brooks this team will go nowhere.

Grizz with Jeff Green are at least 3 notches better than they were last season and a better team than OKC with a healthy KD.

Remembering the league needed to suspend Z-Bo in the playoffs so their MVP could advance last season.

Can't say I agree about Brooks. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I have yet to understand if coaches matter to be honest...

Last year's Nets - everyone said they are a mess because of Kidd and his lack of experience. This season, Hollins, one of coaches I and most on the forum respect came and Nets are horrible, while Bucks, with the same Kidd, that came instead of Larry Drew, are doing well - very well even and you can feel his work there.

Clippers with Del ***** - that I and most of the forum will agree is a poor coach, reached the same place, that they did with Rivers - furthermore, while with Del *****, they made one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the playoffs against Memphis (in Game 1 if I recall correctly), with Rivers (and CP3 of course), they melted down big time against Thunder - just doing everything possible to lose it.

Vogel - me and many others respected him and I still think good of him. He did a lot of great things with the Pacers. Still, when Pacers started to sink, he couldn't change anything to do otherwise.

Pop - 2013 Finals - taking Timmy out two possessions in a row - just beyond rookie mistake - that even first grader wouldn't have made.

Brooks - Three years ago, trailing 0 - 2 to the Spurs, made several adjustments and cruised to 4 - 2, with great Pop unable to do anything.

Blatt - one moment he is great, the other he is terrible...

Many spoke really highly on Mark Jackson for the amazing job he did with the Warriors. Now came Kerr and it seems that Jackson actually may have underperformed with them (not saying it's so - but it's a claim that one can make).

It's very hard to tell what coach is right and what is wrong and what coach can do good job and what can't in one's team. Scott is absolutely horrible coach, yet coaches his fourth NBA team and was signed for several seasons each time. Took Nets to two Finals, despite not having a clue how to coach.

Shaw - many expected him to be the next thing in coaching - but result so far horrible. Memphis now, are about at the same level they were under Hollins, but with a new coach that no one ever heard about before that (or at least I didn't). Many spoke about Spoelstra and how he is wrong fit for the Heat the first season with LeBron, but in LeBron's final season, many spoke how great he is as a coach. Obviously he matured and improved, but it's also people's judgement - many times based on how team performs.

As for league needed to suspend Z-Bo for Thunder to advance - that's BS. Memphis won all three games in that series after OT, while Thunder won one in OT, one by 14 points, one by 20 points and one by 11 points. Maybe if Z-Bo played, they would have won, maybe not, but to say it as a fact, that Memphis would have advanced if it wasn't for the suspension...
Of the two, Oklahoma was the better team in that series - judging by the margin of wins only (I liked the way both teams played and thought that both had a chance to go on).
I don't agree that Jeff Green is game changer as well. Boston thought that and traded Perkins...

quick thoughts as I have a meeting to get to..

Green was brought in to the Celtics to be their #1 go to guy once Pierce and Garnet were gone.... Green has never been a #1 guy, he was 2 after durant on a bad team then 3 after they got westbrook in the draft....

For why Green makes memphis better - depth..... He is the 3/4th again (where he did well with okc) behind gasol, ZBO and possibly Conley..
He stretches the floor and adds you, athleticism and good ball IQ. Memphis is now the deepest team in the league that can play both ends of the floor.... He might not show up on a stat sheet but because he is out there, opponents have to prepare..... need to look further then just stats...

If the line is less than 4 for the grizz game, it will be a max play....same with the nuggz..
