No way Sean McDummy can out coach Campbell and his staff.

DOUBLEUP4LIFE

Pretty much a regular
Mcdummy is possibly the most overrated NFL coach of all time. He flat out sucks when the game is on the line in the last 2 minutes. SUCKS at making defensive adjustments vs good offenses. The worst at clock management I've ever seen ...

Anyways

I used to stick up for this clown but you right he has made some the most inexcusable calls that cost his teams games late.

I’ll tell you another one, Mr golden boy Mcvey everyone calls an offensive genius last thu inside 2 yard line he calls zone read w stafford instead of just handing off to Williams like the always do. Stafford damn nesr breaks his leg as of course he doesn’t make it despite the wr holding all the ways. Turns an easy 7 into a fg. What a fucking genius!!!

Dint even get me started today. Dumb fuck commanders almost lose cause they pass from the instead of 1 instead just give it to robinson for an easy td!! I can’t believe these clowns make millions of dollars when you could find someone just as incompetent to do the job for miminum
Wage!!

very early but he's got the d playing much more inspired

It’s not his overall coaching chops I have an issue with, it the countless times he has totally fubared the ends of games, and jt never the same. It like he stays up all night coming up w the most unthinkable ways to blow them. I’ll say this much for him, he has baffled me more than once! 😆

You think gambler Campbell is any better?

You think gambler Campbell is any better?

Without a doubt!! My only gripe w Campbell is I think there been a few times he lets his emotions get in way of making the right choice. That game in Dallas last year where they went for 2 and made it until refs got together to give out one the bigger nfl screw jobs you will see, it was clear as day the lineman went to to ref and declared himself eligible on the play. For them to take that away after the fact was nfl at its wwe best! That said for him to go for 2 again after the penalty was dumb, def let the emotions get the better of him there. Overall tho I think he ha total buy in from his team and even when he a bit overtly aggressive more times than not his team covers it up for him.

There many kind of coaches who work in the league and a whole bunch that don’t, my personal opinion on the subject is being a totally genuine human who’s team loves and trust is way up the list and he has that in spades. Head coaches didn’t have to be X’s and O’s Guys they just have to make the right hires for their staff and believe in them when everything on the line. I’ve heard you knock him a bit in the past and I couldn’t disagree more, he turned a franchise full of losers into one the best organizations in the league. That rates you pretty high in my book!! You gotta admit There not many coaches doing a better job than he is!

The onside kick with 10 minutes left by Campbell was a bonehead move

Initially I thought it was really stupid, and the way they changed it to where you now have to tell the other team making it virtually impossible to recover, think it like a 4% recovery rate! Lol. But after thinking bout it longer a couple things, one it was a hell of a kick, he got great bounce guy could just barely control, 2, obviously you don’t expect them to run it all way down to 5, obviously you assume if it doesn’t work then team gets ball around 50, 3rd and prob most important josh Allen is a fucking alien! They wernt stopping that mfer no matter where they kicked it, lions d is a mash unit of Mfers that pulling off the street! So yea it easy to bang on him for that play, not saying I loved it but when you take a step back and consider everything going on I don’t think it nearly as awful as everyone making it out to be. Another thing, they damn near got that last one with 12 seconds left (and they had 2 time outs, the fact they tried the earlier one prob gave them a better idea how to try the last).

Again I didn’t love it but I don’t think we should be killing him for it nearly as much as we not killing coaches for way dumber desicions just yesterday! How bout commanders on 2nd and goal from inside the 2 trying to pass instead of simply pound the ball in with Brian Robinson who damn near automatic, instead they take a sack and end up with a fg and not only blow cover but come way to close to being beat!!

Or the “offensive genius” Mcvey on Thu night again 2nd and goal from inside the 2 w a rb who is automatic in those spots and he runs shotgun zone read w Mathew Stafford! He not only gets nowhere close to the pylon, damn near breaks his leg, and they get a holding call so another easy td leads to a punt.

There were way more egregious things than a guy fielding a defense of guys off the street trying to steal a possession when he knew his team couldn’t stop allen from anywhere on the field. Bad luck dude ran it all way to the 3 yard line after barely securing the kick. Was it the best move? Prob not. Was it close to the worst coaching move of the weekend? Hardly

Ben Johnson is the best OC in the league and Aaron Glenn is amongst the worst DCs.

He is playing guys off the street. Look at lions injury list, his whole damn d on IR! If you call them up this week you might get an audition! Crazy to judge him, bills were attacking those linebackers he got off the street a few days ago play after play, he can’t make these mfers play football. It was comical the stuff bills Were running to expose dudes that prob didn’t even know playbook amd def not who they were supposed to pick up on lot those plays.

I'm judging Glenn on his entire career which has been underwhelming to say the least. He seems to have support in New Orleans and of course having played for the Jets he has to at least receive an interview but whoever hires him as a head coach will regret it.

Yeah the onside kick had little to no chance to work but the Lions defense was never stopping them anyway.

I really don’t know shit bout him, his d looked pretty good when he had one the best edge rushers in the game! Lol. That said there no way in hell that id hire any dc 1st time HC these days. Although seemed to work fairly well in Houston, they have some issues but what’s his face seems to be pretty decent HC.

I agree the injuries are a major factor but he's never been a good coach.

All I know if the bears don’t go get Vrabel and bring a legit oc with him they are retarded. I don’t have anything against this lions OC, I wish he come be bears oc I’m just not always super pumped to bring in these rising star coordinators as head coaches. Every now and then a Mcvey, Shanny, lafluer pull it off but I just think lots of guys are far more suited in their coordinator rolls. Head coaching entirely different beast, in not just about being smart with X’s and O’s Anymore. And nothing personal against Johnson but let’s be fair here, I could dial up a offense scoring 30+ a game also if I had one the best oline’s, until yesterday 2 great RBs, a stable of weapons that go together very well at wr, and a #1 pick at qb who incredibly accurate!! Bears have nice weapons but their oline isn’t anything like lions, I’d think a guy like Vrabel would fix that. If I’m gonna take a shot with a guy who never been a HC it would absolutely be a oc but I’d wanna make damn sure he can actually run a team.

Let Vrabel go to the Bears and Ben Johnson can come as a package deal to the Jets with Ray Agnew.

I don't think Ben has the stones to be a HC.
I definitely have those same concerns and still wonder why he turned down the Washington job but I'm willing to roll the dice for once on someone I know to be a brilliant offensive mind. My first choice would be trading a first round pick for Kyle but with that being nothing more than a pipedream give me the best OC in the league.
