NHL Round 1

Awesomeitus Degenerate
Regular Season: 19-21-1 +2.18
Playoffs: 1-0 +1.5

Futures:
DUCKS -160 to win round 1(risking 3.2 to win 2)
DUCKS +685 to win the cup (risking .75 to win 4.87)

Did not post my play last night, which was Flyers/Caps NO goals first 10 minutes for 1.5 units. I'm looking to employ more exotics in post season play.

4/15/16:
Chi @ STL
My Line: Chi -105
My Plays:
CHICAGO +105 (1)
CHI by exactly 2 goals +600 (.25 tw 1.5)
P.Kane more points than V.Tarasenko @ -115 (.58 tw .5)

Bet this one as soon as I got a number. Game 1 could have went either way, and my series capping had these clubs splitting the 2 games in STL. I knew the strategy would cost me a couple of dollars w/ regards to my ROI if Chi lost game 1 (they closed +115), but I believe paying the $10 fee increases my odds of winning. I watched the replay of game 1, and didn't change much on my notes. Duncan Keith returns tonight, which should help the Hawks transition game, and control the pace, which Chi wants to be increased.
Taking a shot w/ the "win by exactly 2 goals", as I foresee the Hawks having a 1 goal lead, and hitting an empty netter. The Kane bet flows with the overall opinion that the Hawks offense gets going. That happens, then taking the NHL leader in points at basically a pick'em against ANYONE makes sense.

Wings @ Tb
My Line: PK
My Plays:
RED WINGS +140 (1)
J ABDELKADER (DET) +110 MOST PTS vrs R CALLAHAN (TB) MOST PTS (.50 tw .55)
RED WINGS WIN BY 2 GOALS +650 (.25 tw 1.62)

My series handicap calls for a split in TB, was nor expecting the $1.40 price, but will happily take it.Det held a 2-1 lead in game 1. I think a more consistent effort gets the job done tonight. Similar thinking with the "win by 2 goals" bet to the Chicago game. I can see a 1 goal lead in the 3rd and an empty netter to get the money. At 6.5 to 1, if you think Detroit wins the game, a small bet, will generate a nice payout.

NYI @ Fla
My Plays:
NYI/FLO SC 1ST 10 MIN NO -105 (.79 tw .75)
TOTAL u1½-135 1P ISLANDERS vrs 1P FLO PANTHERS (102 tw .79)After a back-and-forth affair last night, I'm looking for both teams to tighten the reins to start this game.

Good Luck.

Good luck this Puck Playoff season smh. :cheers3:

Any reason in particular why you're looking to incorporate more exotics for the SCP?

Thanks Steed.

Scarf - I find the lines are much weaker, and have found some real mismatches, and not as much work is put into the pricing. For example, I'm adding the following:

DUCKS more penalty mins +100 (.75)

Anaheim led the league in penalty mins per game in the regular season @ 12.48 mins/game. Nashville was 13th in the league at 9.88 mns/game. Even with Anaheim as the home team, I'm still able to bet the team that averages the most penalty minutes in the LEAGUE at even money! I'll take that bet.

Thanks fellas. Will update record tomorrow.

FLYERS +205 (1)

Before the series began, my numbers said split. So with Caps taking game 1, I'm on the Flyers tonight at better value than I thought I would get.
