19 New York Islanders/Washington Capitals* Over 5 -150 x1 ...I dont believe the Caps played that badly in some aspects in game one except for their net man Holtby who had a very poor showing as he yielded a pair of soft goals and they looked a little sluggish.I was surprised that power play was supposed to have an edge against a team that struggled on the penalty kill this season but the Capitals were shut down on both power play opportunities.I have to believe the Nats turn it around tonite and play much better overall. Islanders do not have a great record following up wins this season with a 18-29 record but the Caps have showed the focus and intensity required to come back strong following a defeat with a 22-15 mark in games after a loss with maybe a little urgency mixed in.

17 Ottawa Senators/Montreal Canadiens* Over 5 +100 x1 ...I think Ottawa is capable of staying with Montreal but they must play their own game and not allow the Canadiens to dictate play. Ottawa is a much stronger puck possession team than the Canadiens and all they have to do is get back to playing that way. The Senators were the hottest team in the East down the stretch and they didn’t make one of the greatest runs ever because they were intimidated or distracted by other's play. They went on that run because of their forward depth and their ability to create pressure in the offensive end. If they do that tonight and not worry about anything else they win ....i hope :)

21 Chicago Blackhawks/Nashville Predators* Over 5 -122 x1...The Preds looked like they couldnt be beat through the first 30 minutes of Wednesday's series opener but they let it slip away. I was certainly impressed to see the Hawks come back so easily and finish off the Preds in OT...I think the Hawks win again tonite and put Nash back on their heels.If they do win tonite i think this series is over

funny u ask about me and home, I am suppose to be back, one of the local Cherokees brought me a gal of clear stuff by this afternoon and left it in the basement...when I wasnt there, he called and said he was working on a new recipe and wanted me to sample it before he put it out for general consumption :)...i thought that was might nice of him to use me as a reference...took me a long time to be excepted by the tribe
