NHL Playoffs Round 1

Diving into the fray, some great games already, I think this series in particular is going to be great.

Hawks -110 - 1 unit - tough loss after coming out on fire in the 1st in that Game 1, I think they're the better team and I expect them to come out and show that this afternoon.

BOL fellas, passing on the other 2 dogs as I'm a bit worried about how they'll respond to losing the way they both did in their last games.

Tough beat, you would think the Hawks of all teams wouldn't choke 2 games in a row like that, but I guess you never know what to expect in the SC playoffs.....

Both 1 unit:

Flyers +145 - they're clearly overmatched in this series despite the reg season records being similar, I think the Flyers have overachieved the second half of this year as a result of Claude Giroux putting this average team on his back and playing great hockey. I think they're good enough to win 2 games in this series if they can get Mason back in Game 3 on, but that's their ceiling as they have one of the worst defenses in the league and are lacking the depth they have had in years past. All that said I think they come out off of that pasting the other night and grind this game out today.

Kings +126 - Sharks are my favorite this season to finally get that Cup they've been looking for, they're balanced and Niemi has been good. This is a good first round test for them, though, as I think the Kings will give them all they want and I expect a bounce back out of Quick off the shelling in Game 1

Blue Jackets +115 - CBJ gets their first playoff win the other day, they get their first home playoff win tonight in what should be a great crowd supporting this team that I think has a very real chance at beating this Penguins team that is weak on the blue line and very weak in goal.

Stars -110 - 1 unit - this is the only win of the series for Dallas IMO, they are game but just do not have the depth or firepower to keep up with the Ducks.

Rangers -103 - 1 unit - Rags get back control of the series tonight, Flyers were in over their heads even with Mason in the lineup, without him I see them only winning 1 more game at most in this series.
