Sammy Cleveland has been one bad game, and then one good game. Baltimore d should give them fits, but Flacco on the road :seeya:prob a game I wont mess with

Tampa, should not lay 9 to anyone. there offense is anemic on the road.

Philly should straight up kill Seattle.

Brad Johnson looks terrible, and there are talks about bringing in Brooks Bollinger. Can you say field day for the G-men
 
Tough card as nothing really stands out.

Bills -5.5
Buffalo tends to own the Jets and they should be focused after losing to Miami.

Interested in the MIA/DEN over as the Dolphins can run on Denver and Denver should pass at will on Miami.

Giants -9
 
Good points MCG on the Denv - Miami game . Matchup of strength vs weakness also lean Denver . Congrats on your Titan win still in shock went to play ball up 14-6 and then see Colts implode . Cant beat yourself vs tenny and I said that pregame. Hopefully they get some momentum after this for you. :shake:
 
Initial leans :

Browns / Over : Both this offenses have vastily improved to the point where I dont see how worst case we dont see a 20-17 game . Ravens defense has alwats slipped a few notches when it travels . Ravens offense is really starting to click and they moved the ball with relative ease vs Oakland but also had a bunch of penalties that cost them plays . Browns getting absolutely no respect IMO. Still think people see the NYG win as a fluke and would rate CLE in the top half of the NFL now . Oh and who doesnt see how much more effecient the Browns offense is with Heiden starting ??

Jets / Over - Both defense showing weakness past few weeks . Like NYJ plus the points but not sure if the line is creating any value .

Lions - Should we not jus be grabbing any team catching 13 or 14 pts at this juncture ? Bears TT over ?

Vikes / Over ? Not trusting of Houston the road yet . Would expect more like -6 here ...

Bengals ? Cincy had shown some glimpses and didnt play that badly at Houston . Dont think Houstin is worse then Jax at this point and anything above 6 presents value iMO....

Bucs off a tough loss and KC of a tough loss but have to be inetersted in KC if they can duplicate that JET effort . TB offense just not very explosive .

Rams probably a big bet . This team is improving each week did a nice job at NE I thought . Game should be a PK IMO .

Philly has a long way to travel and lays a TD . One the fence here always looking to grab home pups near a TD .

Probably have to entertain the Giants but feel the line is insane . Giants dont impress me at all. They are a good team but just very good not much more IMO.

Oakland and Under . Thought OAK has shown improvement from week to week recently on offense and ATL while solid being road chalk is alot to ask. Another game that looks like a Pk to me.

Skins ML - Wash is going to duplicate what NY did at home vs Pitt and pressure Big Ben . Skins have the bye on deck as well ....

Colts v Pats should be interesting . I though Indy played real well until the 4th and 1 decision . Which was basically 3 quarters after that they just unraveled slowly . The OL looked good , they showed they could run the ball some and I wonder does the margin skew the results . Thought Indy was at least as good if not better for 3 quarters of this game . So lean Colts fg or less...

Interested in what GB is @ Tenny as well. Should be about -4 as well but might be higher . GB another solid test curious as to what number is it is ....

I LOVE LenDale White because I punted RBs in a sense in fantasy but lucked out with some shrewd choices but Willie Parker killing me on the injury list . White gets me 10+ FFP regardless ecach week and he can do it gaining 10-20 yds because he vultures TDs. Which is fine from my 2nd RB . Ronnie brown nice late steal as well ...:cheers:
 
nut, i agree with almost all of your leans...

i'd be very weary betting against the brownies. they are a recovered fumble on a kickoff away from being tied with pitt right now, and have built momentum since being healthy. DA's numbers at home vs away are absolutely astounding. that crowd will be rockin like no other because there is hope if they win this game that they can go to the playoffs...that will rattle the rook. huge huge swing game here for the brownies...could honestly be the difference between a 9-7 season and a 6-10 season. they can tie things up with balt here and even the series, and the steelers have a legitimate shot at losing as well, which is motivating the team. the first game @ balt was close until they got away from lewis getting the ball...and then the turnovers in their own territory happened. browns dominated the ravens at home last year, and i honestly expect that again. i agree with marlo that they've been inconsistent, but even in their bad games they were pretty competitive except against the cowboys. much more to say on this one, but if you are that confident on playing the ravens, i'd wait because i think you would be able to get a 3...doubt this line stays here because it's definitely off. there's not many teams in the league that the browns should be more than 3 pt dogs at home at full health imo...and the ravens aren't even close to top tier. i think we'll see the ravens looking a lot more like last year's ravens in the second half of the season. if you want to fade the browns, there is plenty of opportunities to @buff, @tenn, @phil, and probably what will be an inflated line at home vs houst.
 
Browns have been incoorectly labeled overrated because they didnt finish 07 strong and 1st game of 2008 were smoked at home vs Dallas. I dont have tell you how big of an issue drops are with Edwards and Winslow . Which the DAL game I said it 10,000x already Edwards dropped that long pass down the middle in the 2nd Q which was an easy TD and the game just got away from that after that . Plus the fact Cribbs DNP hurting their ST strength which is key to the team , Stallworh and JJ were out leaving teams the ability to double Braylon and spy Winslow . Basically leaving the Browns offense in the hands of untested 2nd and 3rd WRs plus hurting the run game with the lack of respect for the passing game . Cle makes mistakes but overall I grade them as a oslid team being above avg in all areas. They also got healthier on the OL and secondary in recent weeks . Plus since Stallworth came back the offense looks much better regardless of his production its his presence thats matters most . Anyway the losses recently vs Pitt and @ Wash they had chances to win despite not playing well and facing good teams .

I think Balt is VERY underrated though . I see this offense every week getting better and better . They lost afew plays vs Oakland due to penalty but really moved the ball with ease . I think it will be a great game higher scoring them expected as both teams probably see the 20's and have to think CLE pulls it out . While Cle had the bad turnovers in the 2nd H teh Ravens also had drives stalled by Flacco INTS which were crucial early if you look at field position and down.....Could be my fav OVER of the week....just think CLE should be a FG ...so value in that sense ...

Most of my leans are just initial reaction to the spreads not much research....see what holds up:cheers:
 
^well said nut; and although the browns have plenty of problems on defense...mainly vs the run, it's still leaps and bounds better overall than last year, and the bend not break has been workin. i would lean the over as well though despite this

:shake: Gracias Nut. I was at the game and I was real impressed with the comeback as the Colts were playing well IMO and the Titans didn't have any flow in the first half. To counterpunch that strongly after Indy scored the opening points of the second half was an amazing sign for the long-term IMO.

However I'm worried about the GB game. The Packers have had a bye and the Titans have the short week and this could be a spot they come out flat.

Do you have any thoughts on Miami playing Denver, as altitude and possibly cold weather could have an impact on Miami. Denver's just a tough team to read.

Awesome bro. Didnt realize you attended the game . Had to be an insane atmosphere and not sure I paid close attention before but actually love the Titans home uni's.

Definetly needed to answer the score especially since it was one of the rare times they had trailed all season .

You know I want to bet GB and probably will for the reason you just said .

As usual Tenny deserved to win because they didnt beat themselves and that means alot . Still baffled at why Dungy went 4th and 1/2 a yard at his 48 with less then a minute before the 4th Q. Then called a handoff where Rhodes recieved teh ball near the 45.

Denver is tough to read and to be honest I have to look at their injury list after the NE game. They had a week to heal and in a near must win spot now. Ramsey is done , Cutler has the bad finger , both CBs were lost , believe a DE was deactivated prior to the game , Selvin Young ?, Stokely ? .. a ton of questions and would love to fade Miami here to be honest . Really undervaluing Denver in the sense TB was +3.5 and travels better then Miami let alone is better then Miami. Would have expected more like -4.5 ...have to research it more to be honest ...:cheers:

STRONG LEANS

Cleveland -1 Gettin' in a groove....the season may not be lost???
St. Louis +3 Also grooving....thought they played well against NE and could have won...but it was a hard fought battle. Also, hate the Cards on the road.
Miami +3 Denver might actually have the worst Defense in the entire league...now the Baileys are out too. HHhhmm? MIAMI is without question the big surprise team of this season. Gonna roll with the Phins I think.
Green Bay +4.5 Tough to go against those hot Titans....but GB has what it takes to keep it close.
New England +6 Going against my boys here....think this number is a tad high for a team thats pretty much let me down all year. Gotta know when to fold'em.

Also pondering Buffalo -5.5 and Washington -1 (if Moss doesn't play, might have to resist)

St. Louis +3 Also grooving....thought they played well against NE and could have won...but it was a hard fought battle. Also, hate the Cards on the road.
Miami +3 Denver might actually have the worst Defense in the entire league...now the Baileys are out too. HHhhmm? MIAMI is without question the big surprise team of this season. Gonna roll with the Phins I think.
Green Bay +4.5 Tough to go against those hot Titans....but GB has what it takes to keep it close.
New England +6 Going against my boys here....think this number is a tad high for a team thats pretty much let me down all year. Gotta know when to fold'em.

Also pondering Buffalo -5.5 and Washington -1 (if Moss doesn't play, might have to resist)
