any lines out yet? mine aren't still.

Here are a few thoughts before lines come out. Some really intriguing games.

Call me nuts, but with teh way ADP is playing, I could see Minny upsetting Houston. Will be looking to take points there

Ive been dead on almost every week with the Buccaneers for some reason. I think they lose to the Rams. Not sure I'll play it though.

Skins will destroy the Eagles no matter who plays qb

Look for Cowboys to be favored small at home vs NO, and I'll be all over NO

Panthers will beat the Raiders by dd's

Cincy I think plays the steelers close. If it comes out more than a fg Ill take points

Patriots should have a field day at Jax. I'll probably tease them down.

Like the Chiefs to be in roll over mode and the Colts to have a field day.

Giants will beat the Ravens

IDK who ill bet in SF/Seattle but i am looking forward to that game as much as any this season.

Pit fan and will be at the game , but first bet is Cincy +4.5. Been saying since before the season that I did not think this team would make the playoffs. I figured them to be 9-7 at best. Expect a close, one possession game and even if Pit gets up by 10-11 pts the back door will be wide open with their shitty secondary. Next year Ben gets his 3rd ring...
 
DWOWW- I like where your heads at and agree on most. This is a spot where Dallas nose dives.

Oakland has nothing to play for..... Carolina has been on a roll and trying to take momentum into next season.

Skins are a team catching fire as are the packers.

I do like Houston at first glance. I think their defense will want to shut ap down and will rise to the challenge.
 
Hbomb. I'm going to tread lightly on the Packers. They just havent been passing the eye test as much this year as they have in years passed. Their record is still good but they just don't look as dominant. Take yesterday for instance: that attempt to throw the ball across the field on the kick return was one of the worst plays I have ever seen, when you consider the scenario (up comfortably, no reason to give the bears a chance to get back in teh game).

They also have a kicker who cant be trusted at all. I know theyve loved Crosby in GB, but Neil Rakers is a free agent right now, that team needs to sign him now.

The bears were just awful yesterday, but the Pack gave them ample opportunity to make it a ballgame. I don't think I can trust them unless its teased down so all they have to do is win.
 
Cleveland shouldn't be getting that many points against the Broncos. The Browns aren't the Chiefs.

Lean slightly to Cincy vs the Steelers and echo C-Man's thoughts on the Steelers. Problem for me here is that I don't think the Bengals are very good either. Probably pass.

Atlanta Det total looks low to me, but hate betting the overs in these "supposed to be high scoring Primetime games".

That Bears/Cards game might not hit 24 points. 37 is a gift. Gimmie some now.
 
Philly crew - is Shady coming back next week against Washington? If he is, the Eagles will be worth a look at anything above +4....
 
phillys not worth a look at +14 brotha, and i say that as a die hard. i actually lost a fantasy league yesterday because i played stl's defense over cincys, just bc i love my team so much that I didn't want to be pissed every time the Eagles scored a td bc it would be bad for my fantasy d. Ended up losing by 20 and Cincy scored 25.

But even I gotta say that Was has exactly the kind of offense that will score at will against them. RG3 or Cousins, wont matter, I can't imagine the spread being in the double digits, and I expect the Skins to win by 10 at least.
 
As far as shady goes - i dont think anything official has come out yet

I dont think theyll shut him down if hes healthy enough to play though
 
Agree on Clev. Bought them up to +14. Score got away from them a bit this week, but have been competitive most of the season. Also don't think Den has any reason to run it up this week.

Bears number is short. I realize the detroit at zona line was inflated last week because of the seattle game but still ...

I guess the Saints are winning with that ridiculously short line... dallas and saints are equal teams?? umm no

KC has quit ... without bowe and with Quinn, you can take charles away without fear of ramifications in the passing game. No way Colts lose here even though they are not nearly as good as their record. colts or nada.

Hmmm bengals > steelers,, game an elimination game of sorts .... rapist vs ginger..... gonna be close game ... when was last season that bengals had a better defense than steelers?

Atlanta schedule is a joke. Going to have home field advantage in the nfc playoffs while beating two playoff teams all year and one of those was the early season turnover fluke game against denver. detroit took one for the team last week .. likely win outright.
 
Always liked Stanzi - thought he was one of those later-round guys who had a chance to do something in the league.

Matt Cassel and Brady Quinn have steered the team to a 2-12 record, which has led some to wonder if third-stringer Ricky Stanzi might get a shot before the end of the season. Coach Romeo Crennel said there was a chance of Stanzi getting the start in Week 16 when asked about a rib injury Quinn suffered in Sunday’s 15-0 loss to the Raiders.
“There’s a possibility,” Crennel said, via Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star. “Like I said last week, there’s a possibility, and I mentioned injuries as one of the reasons. We’ll see what Brady looks like, and then we’ll make some decisions and go from there.”
Crennel added that health wouldn’t be the only factor in his decision. Quinn’s performance doesn’t do much to recommend him. He was 18-of-32 for 136 yards guiding an offense short on receivers and short on hope at this point in the season.
Stanzi has yet to play in a game during his two years with the Chiefs, but seven straight quarters without scoring can have a way of balancing out concerns about inexperience.
 
I like the Giants big this week.

Raiders/Panthers OVER and Titans/Packers OVER are must plays.

Can't see Houston losing against Minnesota at home with the opportunity to lock up homefield. Not sure if they cover but I'll definitely tease.

Cowboys matchup decently with the Saints. Line seems very low as VK pointed out. Could be classic Vegas sweep with a 1 or 2 point Dallas win so Saints ML and Boys-3 bettors all lose.

I'll probably be on the Browns in some form or another. Perhaps 1h is the way to go.

Eagles are extremely appealing as the Skins are due for a letdown. 10 days to prepare and divisional opponent. The line will be interesting whenever it comes out.

Baltimore has been trash all year but wasn't exposed because they eeked out wins. Now they've been confronted with the reality that they in fact suck mega dick and they don't know how to handle it.

I generally never bet against a team that hasn't covered in three weeks but I remember the Ravens win total being pegged at 9.5 which was obviously designed to get over action. I really don't expect the Ravens to win again this year.
 
I've watched Stanzi for a couple years in the preseason and he is not good....there is a reason he has not gotten a shot...they gave Palko starts over him last year....

I understand betting spots, but you also have to bet on teams, and look at the personnel. Yeah its a flat spot for ATL to lose to a division rival, same with WAS, but look at the corpses they are playing
 
HD and DWOWW-

I mopped up with the Arizona ML last week betting against Detroit. Nobody was more down on the Lions coming into this season than me. Detroit sucks. Schwartz sucks.... And I DON'T CARE. I'll be shocked if this game is a blowout for Atlanta.
 
And yes. I don't deny that I'm crazy. I just got done betting on the raiders for the fourth straight week, so consider the source.
 
leaning on NYG for a huge play, as in play of the year. Baltimore flat out sucks, has no identity on offense, and their D is hurt.
 
Baltimore played two good games all year: opening day vs Cincy, and the Sunday Night game vs the Pats, and that even took some crazy plays.

They lost to Philly, barely beat Cleveland twice, barely beat KC, barely beat Dallas, got smoked by Houston, Barely beat Pitt with Batch and then lost to Pitt with batch, and they smoked the Raiders who were in tank mode.

NYG for biggest play of the season.
 
Yeah, good luck Hbomb and D - but I don't see what there is to like about NY. The only game they looked good in recently was the game at home vs. Green Bay. The scoreboard is deceptive in the Saints game. I watched the whole game, and NO gave them tons of short fields. Eli and the receivers looked off to me in that game. Their other games over the past two months are:

Lost @ ATL 0-34
Lost@ WAS 16-17
Lost @CIN 13-31
Lost hosting PIT 20-24
Won @Dal 29-24 - a game they should have lost, and didn't look particularly impressive

Maybe NY will get it together at the end of the season like they seem to have done in recent years, but they seem disjointed to me. No way I could lay money on this team on the road right now, and I sure as hell wouldn't do it if they are laying the points.... Baltimore seems just as likely to suddenly wake up as NY does.
 
Hey Giants play good when they have too, when they have their backs against the wall. If not for a 4th and 29 and a B.S win over NE the Ravens would be 7-7 now. Giants play better on road anyway. Can you trust Eli right now though?
 
If Baltimore was 7-7 that is basically the same as the giants actually are. What's the difference. That's not really a glowing endorsement of the giants being better. You're just essentially saying they're not worse. Way too many people going on the giants historical performance in the PAST.

Not saying they can't win, but its more likely they are what they are. Not sure if ill be playing this one yet, just saying arguments can be made for both sides.
 
Its all on ELI Hbomb.. If he plays good the Giants win, if not they probably lose.
 
Giants DL matches up well with weak Ravens front. The Ravens have no defense anymore, gotta think Eli puts together a solid game. The fact that NYG is favored is telling. There is no reason the Ravens couldn't be favored by 2 or 3 but they aren't.
 
I do not know whether this should affect your wagering or not, but Joe Public will be at the Browns game.
