Wire, I’ll be in Tahoe for the 1st 2 rounds of March Madness. The World Baseball Classic will be entering elimination play by then. Will you be into this tournament at all?

Sorry Wise I normally pass on the World Baseball Classic. Almost impossible to handicap because it's basically spring training. Despite reasonably impressive rosters these guys haven't played game conditions for at least 4 months. They have some workouts before the games but it's not enough to jump right into real games like they have to this early in March. 162 games followed by shortened rest and little spring training but right to real game conditions is a recipe for disaster for those players that do play in these games. Have to pass. But it will be interesting how this affects those players health come the end of July. GL
