DAVIE, Fla. -- Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered what appeared to be a left leg injury Thursday and was taken off the practice field.

Tannehill fell awkwardly on the sideline while scrambling and didn't get up. Trainers looked at his left knee, which has a brace on it, before taking the quarterback inside. Tannehill suffered a sprained ACL and MCL in the same knee last season and didn't require surgery.

Sterling Shepard and Will Fuller yesterday too...gotta monitor those

These are so brutal, one injury can change a teams whole outlook for the season.

Sigh of relief for #Dolphins. Member of org says no structural damage for Ryan Tannehill, knee same now as in am.

:enraged: I was thinking the Broncos would get 7 wins when I heard he could be out and they were thinking Kap or Cutler

Interesting signing of Cutler by Miami...

It will also be interesting to see what happens with the Zeke suspension. 6 games is high and usually it could be dropped to 2-4, but the NFL may choose Zeke to use as an example of their "no" tolerance of domestic violence. Especially considering his other off the field issues.
