NFL Camp Surprises

We all follow a team. Post some guys here that have been "wowing" the local media, and for FF purposes too. I will start.

Andy Tanner WR Saints....dude has been lighting it up. Practicing with the 1st guys. Joe Morgan is another WR for the Saints that played in some games last year....real speedster.

Kenny Stills was drafted, and Nick Toon off the injury that kept him out last year.....Colston Graham and Moore will still be targets, but lookout for Tanner

Joe Morgan made that unreal catch last year for a td. Made all the highlights. Never heard of Tanner but im intrigued.

In Philly camp, the one "unknown" who has been standing out is Russell Shepard. He was at LSU and considered undersized. I think he had 20 catches his whole college career. But hes looked real good so far and hes been staying after camp to take reps with the machine...just making an overall impression for a guy not many ppl knew.

Mario Williams still hasn't participated in a practice for the Bills, and isn't even at camp right now. He was there and then he left to get a second opinion on some mystery foot issue. Word is that he'll be back at camp tomorrow but isn't expected to participate in practices.

There was a pretty heated back and forth between Marrone and the media today at camp concerning Mario's absence. Marrone basically put the media members in their place although it was very odd that he claimed he didn't know what the story was with Mario and didn't have an update. How do you not have any updates on your highest paid, and most important defensive player? Marrone kept saying he was a "straight shooter" though and insisted that he had no updates.

My Lord is Mario Williams full of drama. He has to be the biggest drama queen currently in the NFL....and that's saying something with all of the drama queens in the league. Dude will never live up to that contract the Bills signed him to (and really who would?), but the drama that has surrounded him in his short time in Buffalo is troubling.

always felt like he was underutilized, it was odd, each year it seemed he fell more and more out of favor with les. im still convinced he shouldve been our QB instead of Jordan Jefferson.

Yes Russell is known to us down here as just wasted talent(coach wise, not him)....I look for him to excel in that offense, Good player.

Former Rams G/T Quinn Ojinnaka has embarked on a pro wrestling career under the nickname "Moose."



Ojinnaka had a tryout with the Saints just three months ago. But now he's listed on the Sept. 1 card in a pro wrestling even outside Atlanta. Ojinnaka appears to have moved on from the NFL.
