Breaking it down briefly
Interesting schedule and even more interesting lines......

BILLS -6 --the feeling is Henne has given the Jax offense and clearly would be foolish to disagree. I do think the boxscores show that Gabbert had played some decent road games before the injury. Why in the world JAX were scoring near 20 pts per game away and barely broke 20pts TOTAL at home is a mystery. Problem here is defense and Jax defense is pretty bad and while Bills have had issues a lot of stats were skewed. Think back to some of those bad losses, the common denominator was Buffalo fell to pieces in the 2nd h but especially the 4th quarter. Look at the last few games....Texans, Dolphins and Colts wereheld in check basically. Buffalo has put up points at home and that Miami game saw issues finishing drives and settling for fgs instead of TDs. True Jags have thrown the ball but Jennings has struggled at RB, bills did a decent job away vs Schaub and Luck recently. Interesting to see if Bills can sack Henne because he took a few v Tennyson

NINERS -7---LINE to me is big and this game seems similar to NE at Jets in week12. Many recalled how well the Jets had played as DD dogs at NE not long ago, so a TD seemed interesting. These two played to. 24-24 tie a few weeks back also as DD dogs so again seems like a big line. Pats lost Gronk heading in and SF lost Hunter and Kyle Williams on offense.

What a perfect pair of teams to tease or ML parlay.....

LIONS -4 BUY---- Take away the improbable fluke win vs GB and Indy has impressed only because of the season they came off of. Lions offense is figuring out and Indy defense is battling injuries each week. I think Details did a nice job v the Texan offense and should continue to struggle on the ground....

Add this team into the teaser or ML parlay conversation with Denver and GB as well
 
Thursday Night –----One thing that I have felt all along about these two is their offensive reputations has clouded the on field performance. Look at the last month for ATL 24 23 27 19 and L10 games high mark is 30 scored twice and versus those 2 poor defenses we saw on Monday. Saints touch better but even they cracked 30 just 4 times and in the low 30s. Clearly not poor but with all the big games we have seen not even a 40+ showing for either ....anyway Saints D has played OK of late especially if you exclude 14 of 31 points allowed to SF on pick 6s. Atlanta D has held opposite in check but just 2 takeaways last 5 games and a very soft schedule since hosting Denver......now Atlanta seems to be banged up on defense and short week always makes that a key issue....

Right now I am strongly leaning to the saints. Its their season and they have owned Atlanta which may crate more interest in Saints then expected....ATL is 10-1 vs a 5-6 team and Falcons rarely lose at home butalso barely beat Carolina, Dallas,oak and Arizona in Atlanta ......

Think the game pace will dictate the total....if it stays one possession lean under if one team is playing from behind then the over will benefit.....but this should be a playoff type atmosphere which also could lean to an under....

Sproles missed the first meeting and Julio Jones despite his big game could suffer from the short week cutting into his rest. Its all a guess though but Saints are attractive IMO....
 
I guess lost in the Seattle CB issues, was the fact Bears were lucky to have anyone walkoff the field vs minny........Tillman chipped bone in foot, Forte ankle injury, Hester concussion, Lance Briggs walking boot, they are already dealing with OL issues and the loss of Jeffrey at WR......

In the past Seattle has played okay in Chicago and despite being 1-5 away has been withi n a td nearly every game.....

Hard to not lean Seattle as Lynch should have success on the ground but Miami did shred Seattle on the ground and that is concerning imo

Bears LG Chris Spencer (knee) is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

The Bears with be without both starting guards ( lance louis)against the Seahawks this week, forcing OT Gabe Carimi to move inside along with backup Edwin Williams. Former Cowboys C Andre Gurode has been signed for depth.

I dont see a non ats win but su win here at all

Cant say that I have a concrete feel here but the only thing really in ATL's favor is its about time Falcons beat them .......Saints own them h2h and whats interesting is that for all the press Atlanta gets for its ability to win close games, the losses to New Orleans are by 3-4 points..........Atlanta is at least a little hobbled coming in.......

Some will say that Nwe Orleans are the so called public play but I disagree.......betting % can say whatever but at the end of the day -3.5 is cheap imo......lets recall the line in NO being ATL slight fav and how Saints have caught bigger numers on the road this year.......do you think the avg person is fading a 10-1 team trying to avenge its only loss by 4pts vs a 5-6 team off a SU home less.....? My point is simply if one thinks they are fading the public by taking ATL I feel they are incorrect.......

Saints ran well and have Sproles back for the rematch where Turner struggled behind that OL and I th8nk Rodgers gets to much hype.......TEs gone wild was the last game so that ay be a point of interest for both defenses.........Samuel not being 100% is key for Atl.........

Pretty crazy movement this week

truth is I like Seattle but didnt realize how good they were catching points, takes away some perception aspects

So here are my quick points......Seattle can run the ball and last 4 or so games bears have not stopped the run. Now they have a banged up OL, Forte seems fine but it takes 1 bad play to knockout him out also, defense and ST Tad banged up......Rice questionable and Trufant out for Hawks....its simply one of those games IMO anything more then a FG seems like value....road woes have come more as chalke zona, rams, Max last week which they choked....

With Miami mostly unimpressed w Pats in NY. It was just a freaky storm that produced4 of 5 BS tds in the 2nd q......key for both plays is keep it close and make pats work to score.....Weller owns Miami past few for props....

Not sure what the whole KC suicide / murder means everything. You walk on the field you tend to forget. Do you rally for your lost teammate? Who happens to be a murder as well......its just to crazy to decipher but believe KC chhose to play. Sadly we have no idea who was even close to him as football teams are large in roster size and clique like in terms of position.......panthers could not stop the run and enter Charles.....Panthers short weeks as well.....just think its winnable and interesting events though it contradicts what I said about KC being successful as decent sized dogs...

Guessing McCarthy absence fueled the line move at Tenn. Its scary w/o him but we have seen Texans defense struggle and Joseph is out for them....

Dallas they have to cover a home game at some point and we saw Eagles struggle at Wash and the defense has been a mess....

Huge game for Steelers and even w the questions they can't possibly duplicate the turnover ratio of Tue past 2 weeks.....batch should be better.....brown helps returning and ravens just unimpressive scrapping out 2 road wins last 2 weeks....

I struggled to lay -4 with the jets and then it started moving and never stopped....Zona played a decent half vs rams and just seems crazy to see 6 when teams are similar .....may L or tease jets
