Now I feel like we’ve been cheated by not having a 12 team playoff after what we’ve been seeing!!
Did Michigan and Ohio State not show today that this rivalry is one of the most special in all of sports no matter what the situation??? Case closed if you ask me if this isn’t already the greatest college football season in its history and we’re just getting started!!! College football is FANTASTIC!!!

Today was fun but it certainly doesn't make the tournament any more exciting in this dojo. Seriously we're talking about 2 loss teams and now 3 loss teams

Yeah the games were exciting yesterday for sure (thanks again Mario for embarrassing Miami fans once again you loser) but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are nowhere near 12 teams that deserve to be in any playoff.

My only pushback on that is that if number of losses becomes the only criteria for playoff inclusion, then it encourages everyone to have the easiest possible schedule. So first all schools cancel any competitive OOC games. Then the conferences start tipping the scales on scheduling to maximize the number of teams that could make the playoffs. If we are going to have 12 (or more) teams, the way we think about "deserving" will have to change

ABC is the hold up on SEC playing 9 conference games. As soon as they pony up, there is already a majority of schools that want to play 9. Conference championship games make too much money to go away, but we need to eliminate the auto bids, or at minimum not guarantee a top 4 seed and first round bye. B1G and SEC are both against auto bids, so I can see that changing in 2026 for sure. They also need to reseed after the first round. There should be no bracket where the 5 seed is a better slot than the 1 seed
