Pretty much a regular
CappingTheGame along with member "JoJo" are proud to sponsor a playoff long capping contest open to all the members. There will be prizes for first and second place once the playoffs are completed.
This will be the format that is used:
First Round:
Minimum Plays:16
Maximum Plays: 32 If you play more games than 32 we will take the picks up to 32 (based on the times the games started) and just ignore the rest. Couple guys already there.
Each play is worth ONE unit throughout this round.
Each play is worth ONE or TWO units at your choice.
Conference Finals:
Minimum Plays: 8
Maximum Plays: 12
Each play is worth ONE, TWO or THREE units at your choice.
NBA Finals:
Minimum Plays: 4
Maximum Plays: 8
Each play is worth ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR or FIVE units at your choice.
Rules:
-Only sides and totals will be used. No Moneylines
-All lines will come from Bookmaker.com and will be posted after previous days games are completed. Lines will not change.
-Anyone can enter through round one. You must meet the play parameters though or you are eliminated.
-Each rounds play parameters must be met or you will be disqualified. For example, if you only make 7 plays in the Conference Finals you will be eliminated.
-You are encouraged to keep your own record as well for a system of checks and balances
-If you can't comprehend the rules of the contest, don't bother participating
-All alias's will be removed immediately and banned from CTG
1st Prize: 150.00
2nd Prize: 50.00
All prizes paid out through paypal.
CTG member JoJo has offered another prize to those who are still left in the contest. First person to win 8 games IN A ROW (w/out losing) in the 2nd round will win a $200 prize from JoJo. That isn't 8 units in a row, but 8 games for the dense. At this point the prize won't carry over to the conf. finals. So if you win 7 games in a row and you're at your max plays of 16 for the 2nd round you are SOL.
In the case of someone being for example 7-0 and betting on a game both side and total. The total will always be considered the second bet. This would also be retroactive to the beginning of the streak.
