Well, lets see if we can break the string of 'posted' plays luck. This season, the really good situational plays have been real good to me. I have played a lot of props the last month and occasional ingame/live plays on some totals that have had hot and cold streaks.

The yearly Clippers road trip(s) in the middle of the season concludes this evening in Utah. This is a potential playoff preview for later on down the road. Utah is currently up half a game for the 4th spot which would include home-court advantage. The Jazz are off two straight losses which started in Dallas as they blew a 21-point lead. Saturday night, at home, Boston just took it to them for the most part from start to finish.

The Clippers meanwhile have had this going on the last several weeks...

This was an interesting trip of sorts...as it was only 10 games in 20 days leading into tonight. This had the quick east trip followed by some rest at home before getting throttled at Oracle. Then there were a few more days before a game at Phoenix followed by another whipping by Golden State on a back-to-back. A full day off at home here then travel cross-country for 4 games before finishing tonight in Utah. This also had an anomoly, in that they had two days off in-between New York and Charlotte. Overall, just a very weird trip.

This obviously could have set up better with the schedule for a massive play...but it still holds merit for a solid play. The All-Star break commences later this week. The Clippers, after having been all over the country for three weeks get a home game then a nice break after. Tonight's game in altitude isn't the best way to finish off a long-stretch like that.

I like that Utah is motivated here..

-Two losses in a row after getting into a groove before that.
-They have lost 16 of 17 to the Clip-show
-They want that 4th seed
-First meeting in Utah, 2nd overall this year
-First meeting featured a lot of Utah injuries

This is the type of game I see the Jazz breaking away in the 2nd half. I will be looking for a favorable halftime/ingame line as we progress throughout the evening.

I did place this bet at 2:58 am, fwiw if one would like to question the line.

For those who like percentages, I currently see 71-29% in favor of the Clippers yet line went 7 to 6.5 to 8 to 8.5 and settled at 8.
