First, I think neither team lets up tonight. Momentum seems to mean something to the suns, and the Rockets want to lock up the 4th best record in the west.
Business as Usual for the Suns.
pertinent quote:
And with how the quick guards used an abused Yao and the Rockets last time, I would expect to see Nash and Barbosa to both have excellent games.
Rockets on the other hand await pick-and-rolls...

"I think it's either we're going to defend it better and win or we're not going to defend it better and lose," he said. "It's really pretty simple. It's not that complicated. And if we are always talking about how hard it is versus how we're going to get it done, then we'll be sitting at home lamenting our fate."

Now, if the teams play like they don't give a fuck or if the coaches are lying, then anything can happen here...but what I THINK will happen is an inordinate amount of pick and rolls out of the suns leading to open 3pt shots or to layups and dunks. Last time they played, the Suns quickies utterly abused Yao on the defensive end...
here are some trends if they matter at this point in the season...
recently:
Phoenix is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
Phoenix is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games on the road
Phoenix is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games on the road
Phoenix is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games when playing Houston
Phoenix is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing Houston
Phoenix is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Houston
Phoenix is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Houston
Houston is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
Houston is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games at home
Houston is 7-3 SU in its last 10 games at home
Houston's been on a nice little run recently against some very bad teams...Phoenix has been playing pretty much EVERYONE well.
I think we'll see 20-25 3pt shots out of Houston tonight, and that plays into the Suns style well...missed 3s will turn into quick outlets and layups...especially if Nash or Barbosa gets the rebound.
GL tonight gentlemen.

link I'm about to make said:Suns coach Mike D'Antoni says the Suns won't ease up now that they've clinched the No. 2 seed in the West. "I don't think it's going to change our mind-set or our approach in the last two games," D'Antoni says.
Business as Usual for the Suns.

He said the eight-man rotation would play "normal minutes" unless the team got significantly behind.

Tmac said:"The Suns are a team that we've been having trouble with all season long," said Tracy McGrady. "With their style of play, they're able to kind of take Yao (Ming) out of the game with their quickness and length.
