Here's an article about the Pacers' woes, especially JO's...

In a game in which the final score was misleading and after which All-Star forward Jermaine O'Neal was near tears, the Pacers continued their losing skid, falling 95-87 to the Magic on national television Friday.

"It's just disappointing to lose the way we have been losing," O'Neal said. "It's embarrassing; it's a lot of things."

The losing has taken its toll on O'Neal, and the writing on the wall about his future in the organization is becoming clearer every day.

As he sat with his injured left ankle in a tub of ice water, O'Neal was asked about wanting to be traded, a question likely to continue to come up as the Pacers move closer to missing the playoffs for the first time since 1996-97.

After pausing for 10 seconds to take in the question, O'Neal put a towel over his face to hide his emotions and ended the interview session. O'Neal has said a number of times since last summer that he plans to sit down with CEO Donnie Walsh and president Larry Bird at the end of the season to address future plans.

The loss has the Pacers 21/2 games behind the Magic and trailing New Jersey by two games in the playoff race. They don't own the tiebreaker over either team, making their playoff chances that much more difficult.

"I would have thought a long time ago we would have had this thing turned around," O'Neal said. "We lost seven games in a row and I thought we would have had the incentive to go out and try and be a better team and get into the postseason."

The Pacers turned the ball over 22 times and were outscored 40-26 in the paint...against the fucking Magic. It can only get worse against the Spurs.

I've been eyeing this game for almost a week, and I hoped for under DD...and I got it. I think, again, it'll be a DD win, and if the Spurs are hitting the 3pters, then it's going to be a slaughter by 20 or 25.

Jermaine's ankle AND knee bother him, and if you didn't see the game, he was again limping up and down the court. This doesn't make him bad (on the contrary he's been the one unstoppable aspect of this shit team), but between him and Tinsley, who plays well as long as he doesn't get himself chucked from the game, they cannot beat everyone.

The great fucking flopper dunleavy will meet his match in Manu. Tinsley and Armstrong's old asses will be run ragged chasing Tony Parker and Manu around all night. A healthy JO would be a fun matchup for Timmy, but a lamed Jermaine ought to get utterly owned (if J plays - his leg may keep him out any day).

The Spurs are looking to move past the Suns in the standings, and while the Suns are in the midst of a tough stretch of schedule, the Spurs are looking at the current NBA Junior Varsity squad. All things being equal, the Spurs win by 10. All things being the way they are:

San Antonio is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games
San Antonio is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
San Antonio is 9-1 SU in its last 10 games on the road
San Antonio is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing Indiana
Indiana is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games
Indiana is 2-17 SU in its last 19 games
Indiana is 2-6-1 ATS in its last 9 games at home
Indiana is 2-6 SU in its last 8 games at home

Last time they played (March 21st), Spurs won by 18 (90-72) as 14.5pt faves. At -7.5 on the road, I'm happy with that line value against this shitass team.

Look at what they beat.....Atlanta in Indiana...and Miami in Indiana. That Miami game, the Heat players were shooting 3s with rafer alston-like precision ALL NIGHT LONG. 17% FG shooting in the first quarter......considering Indiana's recent play, it'd be a bit odd to say they played defense that night.....

in case you missed it, the spurs have been on a TEAR...

I would be shocked if the Spurs don't put the smack down on these guys.

This is my initial chalky square public moron bet for tomorrow. GL gentlemen.

I don't do parlays (parlay = suckerbet). If you think the Spurs are a free win, put your entire account on it.

:shake:

If the Mavs remain a Dog tomorrow, I will absolutely be on them. I don't get mavs ML dog plays often, and I'll be delighted to get them as a dog with some revenge on their minds.

parlay ml doggies = $$$$ only sucker bets when you dont get good odds

:)

If you say so. I like playing ML dogs separately, and I think ML faves really are sucker bets. GL to you sir, I certainly hope you catch that Spurs ML play.

:shake:

Not sure what the line will be, though -3 or so would be acceptable....but I would think that the Cavaliers win again (ATS) tomorrow in beantown. I have respect for Delonte and Jefferson, but I do not see how the Cs can measure up to the Cavs...

Cleveland is 11-3 ATS in their last 14 road games.
Boston is 12-29-1 ATS in their last 42 home games.
Favorite is 7-3-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings.

oh, uh, Paul Pierce is doubtful, btw...

time to turn into a pumpkin...

i might just throw it in a parlay for like 5:1 odds

red any injuries updates on the Nuggets i bought em -3.5 2* ill probably down grade it to 1* after the line goes to 4.5 or 5

Bullets -4 (-105) 2 units

I dunno cake. This is from the realgm game thread in the Denver forum.

Carmelo sprained his ankle after scoring on Raja Bell, but returned to playing for a few more minutes. Should play in this one, mobility will be a question.
Iverson reaggrevated a bursa sack late in the game against Phoenix, after having it drained on Wednesday morning.

I think at least one should play...

well you know AI aint pussy he should play

this parlay pays 42:1 Mavs Spurs Cavs Pistons Warriors Bucks Jazz all ML :D

...bucks and Jazz? are you kidding?

Utah is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games
Utah is 0-5 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
Utah is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games on the road

Utah's last few road games:

03/13/2007 at Miami L 88 - 86 L (-2) U (192)
03/14/2007 at Orlando L 101 - 90 L (-3½) U (193½)
03/16/2007 at Philadelphia L 89 - 88 L (-3½) U (191½)
03/17/2007 at Cleveland L 82 - 73 L (5½) U (192)
03/23/2007 at LA Clippers L 104 - 72 L (-2) U (191½)
03/30/2007 at San Antonio L 102 - 93 L (8) O (184)

Last road win was March 10th. Why will they start playing well on the road tonight?

=)

there's a reason it's 42:1.....you might have one chance in 84 to win it...

I certainly hope you do......except for the bucks...

good thing I did all that thinking with the spurs...hahahahahaha...

Kings +6.5 (-107) 2 units
Kings +266ish 2 units

Hasn't been a great day...

Spurs sucked ass when it counted. They got a 10 pt lead in the 2nd, and then went cold for about 12 minutes...18 or 20 if you're real liberal with your definition of cold.

it happens. Honestly, at the end of that fracas, I'm glad the spurs lost SU. They totally deserved it. ....course, you and I didn't deserve the L.......
