NBA Injuries & Issues for Tuesday & Wednesday

Pretty much a regular
Shaq looked like his hip was about to fall apart in the 2H of Monday's game.

Center Shaquille O'Neal is expected to be out indefinitely after a magnetic resonance test Tuesday revealed more inflammation in his chronically ailing left hip.

. . .

''The activity is exacerbating it,'' Riley said. ``He's tried to do everything he could do and he's gotten all the treatment he can. It's probably going to be an inactive period of time until the thing heals.''

it's not like the Heat can get WORSE, you know...

ZaZa Pachulia was sent to the locker room near the start of the 4thQ. He's apparently upset about being brought in and out of the lineup.

course, if he wasn't sucking ass on the court so much, perhaps he wouldn't have this problem.

Mo Williams missed Tuesday's game with his sore pinky.

that's not a joke.

Grant Hill played for the Suns, and he looked absolutely fine. His quickness got him into a passing lane for a brilliant steal headed back the other way for a fast break.

The Bucks should be embarrassed by their inability to cover after being competitive for most of the game. I had the 2H cover, so I'm not complaining.

Stephon Marbury had surgery and will be out indefinitely.

Knicks fans may start rejoicing.

in a bizarre story...

Former Knicks head coach Larry Brown says in an upcoming interview that the Knicks used spies and other tactics to keep him in check for the year he was on the bench.

Find it under Steph above. Is Larry Brown THAT paranoid? I mean, I'm a paranoid guy, but some of that shit sounds bizarre even to me.

or worse.......did they do it?

oh, and btw...I heard a report during the Suns/Bucks pregame that Carmelo Anthony is OUT for tomorrow's home game against the Hawks.

do remember, No Nene, Najera sat out Monday's game, and now Melo is out for this one.......not to mention that Kenyon Martin just came back from a staphed ass.

the front line is thin and limping. Linas Kleiza and JR Smith should get a lot of minutes tomorrow.

oh, and whoever the fuck Von Wafer is, he's playing for the Nuggets.

also

Stephen Hunter played on Monday. No reason to think he'll sit out Wednesday.

Karl played for just over 3 minutes, and Von Wafer played for 8.

if he spent the whole time guarding Karl, then I suppose that explains the Nuggets loss.

I never thought of Duhon as that important to the Bulls, but man did they look bad against Memphis the other night.

James Posey will miss his second straight game wednesday because of a sprained finger.

...for what it's worth.

Speculation has grown to a month out for Shaq.

I still think he's pretty much done for the season. He's only hurting the club right now.

The Miami Heat listed half their fucking roster as missing practice yesterday.

http://www.miamiherald.com/594/story/390730.html

wtf kind of practice is that?

The Heat listed seven players as missing Wednesday's practice after what Riley called a ''physical'' game against Cleveland two nights earlier:

Dwayne Wade (general soreness),
Ricky Davis (lower back spasm),
Udonis Haslem (chest contusion) and
Daequan Cook (flu-like symptoms)

joined already-absent

Shaquille O'Neal (hip),
Alonzo Mourning (knee) and
Smush Parker (paid leave)

in missing practice.

Riley said ''we'll see'' how it affects Thursday's lineup, though he expects Mark Blount to start in O'Neal's place.
