NBA Injuries & Issues for Thursday

Pretty much a regular
Tracy McGrady is likely going to miss tonight's game with knee pain. he's going to try to play, but from how he's describing the pain it sounds like we shouldn't hold our breath.

"We're going to try something tonight, put some patches on (the knee) and get some medicine in there to knock out the pain a little bit," McGrady said. "We'll see how it feels. Every time I put pressure on it, there's constant pain, sharp pain. I don't have any lift. Laterally, I can't really do anything."

It's a shame Zo had to go out like that. Guy's been through hell and back.... would of been good to see him go out on his own terms.

Troy Hudson is calling it a career which should make Warrior backers relax a bit. That guy could turn a 10 point lead into a deficit faster than anybody in recent memory.

Josh Boone and Sean Williams will likely be starting again against the Heat.

honestly, I hate that Boone is in there over Malik Allen, but if he can play defense and rebound as well as folks seem to think he can, then this might be better for them. At the least they should compete vs the Heat on Friday. Sean Williams really has played very well, and it's a new and exciting thing to see someone other than RJ and Kidd make some hustle plays.

Antoine Wright busted his leg. I saw it, and he was in some excruciating pain - he was carried off the floor. My guess is he'll be out at least for the next game, and that's the focus today.

When someone gets news, post it, because he's been one of the bright spots on the Nets this year.

by the way...the Nets played like absolute dogshit in their win over the Heat. and the Heat actually played pretty well and inspired off of losing Zo.

more crushing defeats are to come for the Miami team...
