NBA In-Game Thread

I think at one point in the knicks cavs game he said lonzo was the best on the floor (or playing the best). Legler was disagreeing with him the whole game.

I never got here to post it but took Kyshawn George to score 15+ at +470. Seems insane to me, I expect some really good play from him this year. They do have a lot of guys that might average around the 10-15 point mark, but I'm riding George until the books adjust.

This doubleheader tonight probably will be the best one we see all year!

Just, wow.

Aaron Gordon 48 and counting!!

You did bets like these last year, right? I seem to remember.

And I tailed people on Maxey...appreciate that insight.

Its so hard to cap NBA on a nightly basis, just becomes finding situations. But, I feel like identifying breakout players early in the season can be profitable. At some point, the books adjust

Im looking at:

George
Bub Carrington- still unsure on this as I watch Middleton and CJ throw up a bunch of shots and you have Tre coming off the bench that will score.
Deni- not sure how much value in that one
Buzelis-
Sensabaugh- was on the fence about this one but looks promising after 1 game
Mathurin?
Castle?
Ivey?

The funny thing is that it’s not a travel where people think it’s a travel. He likely travels on the catch, but it’s close. It looks like the foot come up before he puts the ball on the floor.

On his dribble, he doesn’t travel. You can take infinity steps during your gather. You might argue carry but it doesn’t look like hand came under the ball. 2 steps after the gather. People need to understand that it’s clean and has been forever. Players understand travel better nowadays.

Watching the last minute of the portland Denver game assures me that was fixed. Refs got the notice to fuck Denver without even hiding it

So, Avdija gets MVP this season? ;)

Why Thunder played so late in LA yesterday? I don't recall ever such a late game time...
Not that I complain... It's 6 AM here, so could wake up in normal hour and enjoy the game...

Lakers did everything they could to lose the game (or send to OT) in the last 1.2 seconds, but Spurs wouldn't let them...

What time did the game start?

20 pm la time I think...
30 minutes later than any game ever that I can remember the last 30 years at least by Israeli time :)
Interesting.

NBA games traditionally were at 730 local time for years and 800 for a national TV game on East Coast.

So, for instance, TNT Thursday was always 800-1030

Most cities have moved the tip times to 7:00 locally.

I did notice NBC tossed a 830/1100 doubleheader on opening night. Maybe this was the case the other night?
