Edwards no 1 is as much as lock as they come. Should be Edwards, Wiseman, Ball although depending who gets no 2 ball could go 2 and Wiseman 3.

Someone talk to me about Tyrese Haliburton? My Knicks are targeting a PG, one who can shoot, as we already have 3 on our roster who can’t (Payton, DSJ, French Frank). Seems they are targeting Ball, Haliburton, Anthony, or Killian Hayes. Ball is obviously the best prospect, but if he is off the board I’ve heard they like Haliburton, but from what I know of him he’s more a play making PG and not a knock down shooter? They really need someone who can space the floor for RJ, Mitch, Randle. Anthony can shoot and has the skills but had an erratic freshman year, a lot due to his knee, and Hayes seems legit, but he’s another foreign project and not sure they want to go down that road again with the miss on Frank at PG.

There’s always the chance they grab a guy via trade or FA but not sure who would be available that fits that bill, unless they want an old CP3 at inflated money.

Man that team is just a fucking mess. As is almost always the case in such a train wreck, it’s all on the owner. Until Dolan ceases ownership, it’s tough to imagine that ship getting righted.

I’ve been a fan all my life. Refuse to give up on them no matter how bleak it seems. Dolan won’t sell, only thing we can hope is he becomes a less visible owner and lets legit basketball people run the team

And I can totally understand and appreciate that perspective. The problem is that Dolan is still the one doing the hiring and choosing which “legit basketball people” run the team.

You can look back on pretty much every franchise who is/was awful for long periods of time...the one thing they all have in common is an awful owner who has/had the uncanny knack of always making the worst possible decisions.

I'm curious how they'll do the lottery and if they do the draft at the usual time. As far as the lottery, Detroit and Atlanta have the same amount of wins currently but the Hawks have one more game played so that needs to be potentially figured out for tiebreaker purposes.
